Like you said Soldier is probably your best bet. ODSTs don't have stealth technology? so yeah.
Moral choices, you played the game. You were a highly trained non-spartan human soldier, while the roles of Shepard vastly supercede anything an ODST would ever do, just go with your gut in terms of choices. Don't lean to renegade or paragon necessarily. You'll know the right choices when you see them.

ON topic, I'd suggest Soldier because he has access to all weapons. I however am going to be the sniper and run around cloaked half the time. An ODST is a shock trooper(hence the ST in the title) They dont specialize in any one weapon. Infiltrators are snipers pure and simple.

Vanguards are much better. They get the best of both Soldier and Adept classes. Christina Norman was playing as a Vanguard today and she was just owning.....her health never came even remotely close to low and she had no god mode or anything like that. She simply used hear weapons and powers combined with cover and had zero problems.
IDK those veins on screen were pretty big. And her and Jesse were like "oh crap" by the looks on their faces.

ugh, elitist vanguards, always thinking they're the best... If he likes teh haloz that much, he'd be best off playing soldier.
I like infiltrator the best, btw.

I'm trying to make my shepard like an ODST and i'm wondering what class i should choose. I'm thinking either a soldier because their trained in all the weapons like an ODST or a infiltrator because they can stealth and are covert much like an ODST is. Also what kind of moral choices should i make?

Infiltrator - Romeo, Dare, Rookie(Depending on you playstyle, you do sneak alot)
Since heavy weapons are available to all classes and ODSTs don't get Battle Rifles (ME equivalent to the Assault Riffle/LMG), but they do use SMGs... I'd go with Infiltrator. Unless you want to go "super heavy", then I'd go Soldier.
It's really up to you.

Except their faces weren't shown during the gameplay demo section and she never had red veins....though I missed a couple of minutes while I got a drink so once at most. I didn't know we had telepaths here who could read the minds of Jesse and Christina from far away.....and see their faces when they weren't shown apparently.

Did you see the bit were she charged the person furthest from her then turned around to blast everyone behind, since they lost cover. Thats how to use charge! My fav tactic in ME1 was to sprint up to an enemy and smash it in the face with my shotgun shoot someone else while it was getting up then finish it off. I am hoping you can do that in ME2 but with charge instead of sprinting.

Halfway thru it was. and in the stream you could see their faces (not sure if they could during the live one but the one up on xfire now has their faces down in the right corner.
EDIT: it was 21:20 in right before the hacking minigame where they said "wooo close call"
