So, as we've heard, you'll be going on a suicide mission, and your decisions determine whether you make it through.

It also sounds like a lot of them involve doing missions to recuit people, gain their loyalty and get ship upgrades.

So, think you are going to make it through alive your first game through? I sure plan too, though who knows...

My Shepard is definitely going to get out alive. I'm not breaking character in order to gain loyalty though, so we'll see how my squad does.

maybe on my second playthrough they survive, not sure about the first one..since i might skip some part that i wasnt aware of but i will try to make it in the first playthough

From what the devs have said, it's not necessarily difficult to get Shepard out alive. The difficulty lies in getting all of your teammates out alive.

Exactly. I'm thinking Shepherd only dies if you REALLY rush through and skip out on the recruitment and/or loyalty.

I'm a completitionist, so Shepherd probably won't die. I'm also confident the rest of the squad will survive. I'm certainly not importing a save where we didn't all survive into ME3.

I know I will, because I'm going to be crazy prepared, have everybody be totally loyal, get as many upgrades as I can, and so on.



Then I'm going to keep multiple saves throughout the game, so if it turns out that a choice I made made a death unavoidable, I'll undo it.

Exactly. It would be so tragic. Shepard dieing...after saving the galaxy...again.

First playthrough I'm going to explore *everything*. WIth all the upgrades done, most loyalities in my pocket and all possibly recruits ready and able in my group it's extremely unlikely Shep'll die in the final mission. I feel like one of my squaddies isn't going to make it though....

I will kill a Shep, but not my first one, it sounds like it has to be a pretty bare bones run in order to end with Shepard dead.

I'm tempted to have my full paragon character just go to the end game as soon as possible thinking he could just talk to them and resolve it peacefully. I'm assuming that would spell certain death.

Not with my main Shep, but I will definately make a default one after I beat it the first time so I can experience the death ending
