I'm curious as to whether we will get a chance to make any adjustments to our custom made shepards at the start of mass effect 2. Surely having updated the engine, certain facial features and animations will have been improved.

Or will we still be limited to the choices we made at the start of ME1?

I would welcome some sort of feature where we could possibly adjust some minor cosmetic details.

If not, will the same be said for Mass effect 3. I would see it as a bit ignominious if we were still relying on an outdated character model by the third title.

Yea, I think you can sculpt Shepard's face to your liking at the start of ME2.

Yes, you can retcon your character's face, as well as class.



I made my guy look exactly how I wanted to...but only from the front. When viewed from anywhere else or under certain lighting, he looks ridiculous, lmao.

In one of the interviews yes you can re-sculpt Shepard face, hair, talents, and class. Gender is the only thing locked that can not be changed...

Anyway, I'd like to see how the ME1 features translate into ME2. I'm hoping they'll improve on their own without me doing anything, but I'll probably end up making small adjustments. I never managed to get exactly what I wanted in ME1.
