First off, this is my first post, and as such, I apoligize if this type of post is in violation of anything. As the title suggests, I'm curious to know whether or not my computer is good enough to run ME2 at an acceptable speed. Here are the specs:
CPU : Intel Pentium Duel CPU E2160 @ 1.80 GHz, 1.80 GHz
Memory: 2.00 GB
System Type: 32-bit Vista Home Premium
Graphics Card: NVIDIA GeForce 8600 GT
...The rest of the specifications are met, if not exceeded. Now before someone says look at the posted specs and figure out for yourself, I understand the fact that my pc CAN run the game. What I am interested in, is how well. I like to play games that run fine and look nice. As a past experience, I have played Mass Effect 1 on almost every setting turned to the highest possible point with limited problems. Again, if this is the wrong area to post this question in, I apoligize. Thanks for the help.
Can my pc run ME2 at acceptable quality?

If you can run ME1 you'll be able to run ME2, although perhaps not at max graphics.

A little gun shy there aren't you? LOL
Overkill never hurts when it comes to graphics, just depends on how much $$$ you're willing to throw at it to make it look as good as it can. You can usually tell how well it's going to run by how far over the recommended specs you are, and by what's been said concerning how ME2 will run compared to ME1, you should be just fine.

Alright thanks for the replies. And its not gun shy, I'm just not in the mood to argue with some rule fanatic nerd that takes this too seriously. You'd be surprised...
