Yes it will.
DA2 didn't burn me too hard but I've still been unable to replay ME3 after that horrible ending (and BioWare's adamancy of refusing to even listen to critique) completely crushed any fondness I ever had for that series.

I'm not gonna pre-order DAI. Based on the available information, there's still nothing that makes me want to play it right away.
We could do that in the first game. Make the player and the companions have their visor down and stuff like that. It only worked if we had equipped an armour on the character, though.

How do you know they didn't listen? Because they didn't agree with you?
Yeah I'm inclined to think they've listened. I mean criticism regarding ME3's ending has been (and STILL is) shouted from the rooftops at any given opportunity.
They've heard. ![]()
Not at all.
I've loved most Bioware games despite their flaws.
Or maybe I just have such low expectations for games that I can't really be disappointed.
How do you know they didn't listen? Because they didn't agree with you?
It's funny how often people confuse those two things. I've mentioned it in that last forum, but people do realise that not everyone agrees one hundred percent with each other. If BioWare has ten people saying that loved DA2 combat and ten people saying they hated DA2 combat, who should they 'listen' to? Not everyone agrees. So, while they hear critiques, they can't actually make a game everything to everyone, given that some people are diametrically opposed on certain gameplay features.
And, for the thousandth time, Dragon Age devs and Mass Effect devs are TWO SEPARATE GROUPS. So, holding DA devs accountable for ME is simply unfair and stupid.
And, no, this game isn't a make or break game. If I dislike it, why would I not buy the next game if it turns out to be something I'd really like? It seems like the only person I'd be punishing is myself.
What the hell are you talking about? ME1 characters always have armor equipped. You can't choose to have someone do without. And on an airless planet the helmet's always there.
Played plenty missons with Liara having no armour...
I enjoyed both Mass Effect 3 and Dragon Age 2. I plan on pre-ordering and all that jazz, since Leliana's presence in the game is pretty much confirmed, even though i actually am more hesitant about this title then I was about the last Tomb Raider (which turned out to be bomb and I feel terrible for doubting crystal dynamics over silly internet rumors)
Kinda sad that's what matters most to me but IDGAFUDGE. Anyway the Dragon Age team (especially the writing team) has mostly pleased me. So I continue to expect them to please me... so that's another reason this isn't make it or break it for me. Unless they do something unspeakably bad. I don't even know what that would be. (Nvmd I do... make Alistair x Leliana canon... oh god... the horror
)

Do you have pictures of her in casual wear instead of armor?
I highly doubt I'll ever quit on BioWare ![]()
For both game and ... personal reasons
Nope. Always have a great place in my heart for Bioware.

Got a screenshot? It's utterly impossible on PC. There's no way to remove the armor.Played plenty missons with Liara having no armour...

I always find it interesting when gamers say that Bioware is not listening. I have learned that Bioware listens they simply do not have to agree with everything I say. They do not have to accept every critique given. When gamers say Bioware did not listen to me it usually means Bioware did not do what I wanted.
I know Bioware will not produce the game that I specifically want, but I have no doubt they will produce a fine game. I like DA2 and will pick up the ME trilogy since it is down in price. I have not played the Mass Effect games so I will buy those at a reduced price. If I like the trilogy. I will pre-order ME4.
I will be pre-ordering the Collector's or signature edition of DAI. It may not have everything I want, but the previous games have delivered hundreds of hours of fun from Shattered Steel to BG1 to DA2.
I will break if there is no blood mage spec for mages.

Dragon Age Origins turned me into a crazy gamer who got up an hour early every day to play before work.
Dragon Age II grew on me slowly, and it got better with each additional DLC. Lots of replay even with this game.
Mass Effect I - I put aside for a long time
.
Tried Mass Effect 2, loved it so much I went back and played ME 1 all the way through. Fell in love with its story even if the combat was clunky. Bought all the DLCs and still drag it out and play it. Loved it, loved it, loved it. (Except for giving Thane a terminal illness -boo).
Mass Effect III - Totally loved that game right up to the appearance of the STAR CHILD and the nonexistence of a Hollywood ending. But the writing was so good in that game up to that point and the music so well crafted, that I still play it and I still cry when I can't go walk on that beach with by BFF Garrus and my honey.
Jade Empire - played it through once. Liked it.
KOTOR - played it through once - Liked the story but didn't like the combat.
Baldur's Gate - Just can't get into a game that old.
Oh, and I preordered DAII and ME III and I'm glad I did. So I will be preordering DA:I. I love Bioware more than I love Bethesda for two reasons: Companions and great story lines.
As long as the game is great then that's all that matters.

I wouldn't exactly call ME3's writing "good" but that's all I'm going to say on the matter.
Are you in an open relationship with a BioWare game...?
