Picked it up off Steam last night, but as of yet, I'm unable to register it (with the DLC in mind). I assume I'm logged in with my Bioware community account now, but under the 'My Games' tab and 'register games', only Dragon Age appears (for PC, Xbox, PS3...with the PC version being registered).

Doing a search for the DLC turned up this link -

http://masseffect.bi...nthesky_pc.html

So, I try to log in, it asks me to agree to the TOS, hangs a little while, and then brings me back to the login prompt, as if I've not logged in or whatever.

My password/username are correct, and I've even had my username e-mailed to me, password reset (via the login help section), but no luck actually getting in.

Very frustrating.

Any assistance would be appreciated, thanks.

Mass Effect predates this site, so all the registering and logging in is talking about the old bioware community at http://forums.bioware.com/  While there is some linkage between the old site and new its mostly so accounts at the old site carried over to here, I don't think it goes backwards.

If you didn't already have an account over there, go to https://accounts.bio...te_account.html and create a new account at the old site using a EA account. Your account here counts as an EA account, so you should be able to use the email and password you used here to sign up.  Or just create a standalone account if you just want something that will let you download the DLC.

Once you have an account at the old Bioware Communty you can register your Mass Effect CD key over there and use the download at the Bring Down the Sky page you have linked to above.

Thanks for the response.

I had been trying to use this account name/password on that old site without any luck.

In the end, as you suggested, I had to make another account there, linking it to the EA one...so now I have "two" accounts listed under this EA one. Managed to register, download the content, and all.

Just seems like a very sloppy way of managing this stuff. I'd prefer just one universal account for all registrations, but ah well.
