So I was just wondering what effects your save from ME1 will have on ME2, for instance I know that having a lvl 60 character will have an effect, but what effect will it have?
Also will achievements you earned effect ME2, I have heard somthing about the "Rich" acheivement will have an effect but will any others like having a squadmate for most of the game or weapon kills and skill usage achievements? Also will the Achievments need to be unlocked with the character you transfer or will all the achievments you earned with any character effect every character you transfer?
Will the collection quests like the valuable minerals and turian insignias have an effect?
How about your skill points, will maxing out Assualt Rifles or your charm intimidate talents have an effect?
If anyone has a list of what effects your saves it would be really helpful.
Anyone got a list of what effects your ME1 save game will have on ME2?

From what I have heard/seen I believe that no achievements, skills, money, gear, etc have any affect on ME2. The only thing that matters are your decisions and who lives/dies.

I've heard that certain achievements like Rich give you money/mineral bonuses, as does your level at the end of ME1. Higher level (mid-50s to 60) Shepards get more stuff to work with than say a level 30 Shepard.

I say a list before( but can't find it now) and I will list what I remember.
*If Wrex is dead
*Who lived on Virimir
*Actions involving Conrad Verner
*Actions involving Asari Diplomat
*Actions involving Nirali Bhatia
*What happen to the council and who is human member
Maybe there is more I will look around.

It's been confirmed that level (60 giving you the best bonus) and the Rich achievement count towards ME2 careers. There's been rumors that other achievements have effects, but as of now we only have Dev confirmation on those and even then we aren't sure of the exact bonus(es) that we get for them.

I'd expect a full list a few days after launch.

I dont really want to know about the storyline consequences at the moment because if I knew the outcome and consequences of my actions it would really defeat the purpose of making the difficult choices in ME1.
What I do want to know about however is if I should bother trying to complete Achievments, get my character up to lvl 60 and whether I sould bother finishing the collection quests (valuable minerals, turian insignias ect). I also want to know if how I chose to spend skill points on my char (maxing out charm/intimidate or even assault rifles).

Well as far as I understand all mission results carry over from the smallest to the biggst. But the effect might not be noticable in every case. Atleast the made a point the Conrad has a bigger impact then you might think for the small screen time he had.
Next to that nothing carries over no achievements, level, gear, money. It will only remember your stats from ME1, and give you some bonusses based on some achievements like the rich one. And also your finsal lelvel has some influence on bonusses you get. On the old forum there was a list somewere.

Not 100% what affects our starting cash but it has been stated that we do get to carry over some of it based on certain criteria...
And we get an xp bonus based on what level our imported character was from ME1....A level 60 character will obviously have a more advantageous start than say....A level 48 or 50 character.

Whether or not you saved the Rachni Queen.
I believe that the collection mission do give you a bonus at the beginning of your ME2 career.
I wonder how you treated the reporter in ME will carry over to ME2.

Ugh it was on the ME wiki but it's been taken off, just great!
I don't want to do the entire list of sidequests on my 56 soldier, I just want to do the ones that transfer and do the main story import him at 60...
v0rt3xx22, where?

FOUND IT; sorry for double post
Choices confirmed to have influence in Mass Effect 2 are:
The decision to save either Kaidan or Ashley.
Whether or not the player kills Wrex on Virmire.
Whether or not the player decides to save the Citadel Council at the end of Mass Effect.
The player's choice of love interest.
Whether the player spares or destroys the Rachni Queen at Peak 15.
The player's treatment of Conrad Verner.

Om needs no list.
I've only played through 4 times, but I made sure each play through was different enough so that when I import them to ME2 I can see how all the decisions turn out (for good or for badass).

You dare to ask the Mighty Om the difference between Paragon and Renegade?
It'll be the Holy horns for you!
