I was wondering, beat the game twice, and each time I started a New Game+ over on the same game file, I started it again a while back but never got to the ending of the game. So will i STILL be able to get the bonues and stuff or no?
I was level 58 btw, so close to 60:(

I was also wondering if I do get to move my character over to ME2 can I change things about her like the hair and the background? Or if I have tos start all over as in a NEW game on ME2 do i get to pick everything like as IF I got to the ending of the game? Kinda like a background saying if I did the good stuff at the end or the bad ending at the end???? Im so confuzed here:(

If you push start new game and your profile is there, it is ME2 ready. Although, progress in your current NG+ wont matter.

Also, your skills, level, money, achievements, etc wont affect ME2. The only thing that will affect ME2 from ME1 is your decisions. And who lived/died.

Actually, your level, paragon/renegade status and money will affect your character in ME2. Devs have indicated that you'll get bonuses for importing a character that is level 40, 50 & 60, and also if your character has the Rich achievement. Your paragon and renegade levels will also grant bonuses, but it hasn't been clear what the bonus will be yet.

They've also said that at the beginning that you'll be asked a series of questions about your actions in ME1 (just the major ones) to make sure you remember what you did, but you won't be able to change your decisions

Achievements DO matter, just not sure which ones, Rich for sure though. There is a video on IGN that shows the basic things that get imported, which is Name, level, class, whether your Renegade or Paragon or both on the same file, etc. This was also on a preview from Gamespot:

The save file that you import carries over the story choices you made in the original game; provides specific boosts to your combat abilities without maintaining your old skill levels; and keeps the same gender while providing a chance for you to redesign your character's appearance.

Shows you got alot of money. So you'll start off with more credits in the beginning.

So if i finished my first play through reaching lvl 48, then start a new game+ and reach lvl 60. Will it show both the lvl 48 and lvl 60 shepard in ME2? or will the 60 replace the 48.

I hope i'm making sense.

Everytime you beat the game, it makes a separate save game. So yes, both of those saves will show up in ME2

No, you go back to level 1.

Accually I hear that if your level 60 the bonus for that is that you start at level 5 at the start of ME2 and if you are level 50 in ME1 and transfer character over to ME2 than you character starts off at level 3

if you start at level 5 does it auto level you up or do you get to assign your points?

Sadly I don't know about that, but thats what I heared from people who supposdly have the game early on a diffrent website, but I would hope you get to assign the points yourself.

That's all we get for having level 60s? Ugh. I was hoping for something we couldn't get otherwise in the game, or at least something less trivial than levels. So many hours wasted.
