28.1. - Public Service Announcement: This thread now no longer hosts my art only. If anyone of you would like to show his appreciation of the Dragon Age monsters, do so here. Everyone's contributions are more than welcome! Sharpen the pencils and draw away happily!
---------
Warning: In comparison to Reuben, Lady Winde, Evolvana and the other amazing artists here, I suck. Genlocks could color better than me, my anatomy is awful and I couldn't draw realistically if my life depended on it. Also, my English sucks. So if you seek art that is truly aesthetically pleasing, this is probably not the thread for you.
Furthermore, I have to add that in a few cases, I tried to take some personal ideas into my drawings. Don't get me wrong - I love the creatures from Dragon Age and am well aware of the copyright and everything, but I feel that some of the models in the game don't show every aspect the creature might inherit. I tried to show what I thought of the concepts that lay behind them merely.
Due to me not possessing a deviantART account (and refusing to, because it's even more embarassing to be the only failure among thousands of artists than being the one among twenty or thirty.), I'll only post one picture at a time. As soon as I find a more satisfying way of uploading, this will be remedied.
The first artistic 'crime' I have commited onto the unsuspecting bestiary of Ferelden is...

Shah Wyrd, that awful demon that had my first DA party flat in about a minute. He actually has a very nice concept about him - he is a coalescion of thoughts that had no particular direction. Just as these thoughts, I figured the demon to be ever-changing and unfocused, only roughly holding the form of a demon, growing and retracting appendages at unspecified points of time. I thought the form of the Rage Demon went in the right direction, but didn't do him much justice, so I tried to add to it. The result is shown.
And now, you may speak as you like. If you don't like it, fine. If you have constructive criticism, please tell me. I'm happy as long as someone looks at it.
