I bought an physical copy of ME for the PC from a store, and have beaten it ages ago. I just Pre-Ordered the sequel on Steam, but now I wonder if my saves will be able to transfer between them. I've been told it IS possible but I do not know the specifics.
Help please?
Beat ME with Retail copy. Pre-Ordered ME2 on Steam. Will my progress tranfer?

Worst case scenario is that if the game doesn't find the files, just copy and paste them from one location to their appropriate location.

So long as you're still playing on the PC you'll be fine. The only issue is if you switch platforms from a PC to 360 or vice versa.
