That's a general statement. You can't have a general statement that applies to all members of a species.  Not all Krogans are battle-hungry creatures, not all Turians are gung-ho about the rules, and not all Asari view sex as sacred--what about the Consort?

Token love interest? There's only been ONE Asari romance, while before we had 2 humans, and now we have at least 4 human romances in ME2. Why target the Asari and not humans? Sounds a little hypocritical...

Well, the Asari being comforable with their sexuality is also a general statement.  If what you wanted to say is that there is all kinds of people, just like in the case of humans, well, that applies to every species, I guess.

It could be something where she has sex with you, and then panics when she thinks she develops feelings. And, we don't know how long the writer played the game. A couple hours? Something might change later on.

It could be: Sex with Jack. Jack tells you that's all there was. Loyalty mission. Jake realizes she really cares about you and she doesn't have to be afraid of being with you.

But, it could also be the yeoman.

Hard to tell.

Breaks the laws she swore to live by and has done so for what 600 years just to have sex with Shepard? Unless her resolve is really weak I'd assume she would only sleep with shepard if she planned on sticking it out, but that's just me

You gotta point there.  That's what I was trying to say: there's all types. So maybe some Asari view sex as something special, like Liara, while others see it as something used for pleasure, like the Consort. I could see Samara, who, as stated above, looks like the 'cougar' type, fit into the 'casual sex' category very easily. Since I know very little about Samara, though, I could be way, way off.
