Unless Tali gets a romance. Then they'd need to make another incredibly likeable character whose route got cut because of time constraints.

Personally, I'm fine with anything that's not how Dragon Age did it. Less is more and all that.

I love how some people view ME2 as a sex simulation instead.

Some-- Others just get offed when the tension between two characters goes higher than ever and then you see underwear resembling something grandmother hardcore would wear...

>_> Sex is not dangerous. But America believes it is. Awesome country.

I'm American, and I agree with your sentiment.  It's ok to show 2 billion people getting their head and limbs shot off but if you show boobs everybody has a heart attack...

Where as overhere, in Europe, you can show all the sex you want*. Violence is-- more or less straight to the point no Bad Boys-esque chitchat during combat. It is more down to earth, you get hit you die. Quite dark.

*Infact they encourage Directors here to put sexuality, sex, et cetera in their films to showcase a harmony.

I can't believe you used the word undies... I guess that's better than future blouse...

What else would a future society name it? Lip-closers? Snakecage?

This is what the ESRB says:
"... Players can also choose to have "romantic encounters" with the alien/human henchmen characters; this involves watching a guided cutscene in which two characters flirt, kiss, and/or embrace: clothed alien/human characters may prop a partner on top of a space console, clear away the clutter from a bed-slab, unzip a future-blouse, or just talk it out. Though an alien/human may gyrate her hips while on top (fleeting—one-to-two seconds), actual sex is never depicted—the camera cuts away to space furniture and ceilings."

I think the person who wrote that wanted to see how many ridiculous modifiers they could get away with. Future-blouse and space furniture indeed.

I would hate it if it was underwear The Saboteur had full frontal nudity you could see everything, why can't Mass effect 2 have it.

Considering the gaming community finally got the FOX news guys to admit they never actually played or watched any of ME and where just making everything up, that Bioware wont take a step backwards.

That seems more reasonable to me.  I really think if they made sexuality less taboo it would be less of an obsession over here.  Plus if violence was more realistic it would make for better stories/entertainment.  I say all this realizing I'm in the minority.

as long as it's done right and not tacky / lame does it really matter? there's enough porn online anyway if you want full blown 30minutes of sex

I think the scene isn't going to have any actual sex in it, but rather some foreplay, like striptease and kissing and such, before the camera pans out of view. But maybe we'll be surprised. :)

i hope it's not just the character models in underwear rubbing against each other. not that i'm really hyped for pixelated nudity, but the Dragon Age scenes were embarrassingly awkward. it ruined the atmosphere.

Hmmm... we don't see too many of your kind around here. Tell me, what is it like being a witch? Surely you have to keep your talents hidden from others. I'd imagine there would be many hardships that you must face in your everyday life.

This,  although I'll be honest, I don't think I'd mind pixelated versions of a sex scene equivalent to what you might see in an R rated movie in a game that's rated M.  The soft-core porn shots with granny panties on just looks ridiculous, however.  Just never shoot the chest, butt, or genital regions in these scenes if you've got to conform for the puritans that might have a heart attack if they ever saw a computer generated naked breast or ass.

Neither, ESRB rating made no mentions of Nudity nor Partial Nudity.  The Miranda clip is likely as explicit as it gets in ME2.

With all the huge love threads you see it would probably sell as many copies as ME1 if not more. :P

So..

In Mass Effect we get strange "bullets" grains of salt, sand or whatever. Which 'seems' to damage and kill stuff, which, even when blown up, remains in the shape of whatever specie it was.

We also get side boob~ a little bosom sideshot.

In Mass Effect 2 we get the ability to shoot off limbs, curse like sailors, and fully clothed intercourse? We have gotten, Hollywood Effected.

No. I liked the taste with which sex was portrayed in ME1. I don't want porn, I want romance.

there's no nudity warning on this one, only sexuality content. do i want there to be nudity? damn right i do: it means bioware is continuing to push the envelope for one and two it means that they're not holding back from us on the account of people from the ersb or fox news. also, thirdly, Miranda is wicked hot and i am a guy so... go ahead roll your eyes, it's who i am. anywayyy yeah americans are prudes i should know since i was born one. but for the record maybe only 50% of the country actually believes in being prudes - the rest are so fed up with it we occassionally need to take trips to denmark or germany or england or france to... well you know =D

Seriously grow up Im sorry but I have lived in Europe, England, China, and America and one thing I have learned is people are people no matter where they live. Culture from Europe or from America may seem different but their is a reason its called western society... the culture is not that different, there are bad action movies and sex scenes in every country on the face of the Earth. Im sorry I am just sick of Europeans thinking they better then Americans and Americans trying to be cool and act like their own country is stupid, grow up and mature a little... sorry. anyways as long as the sex scene is not cheesy lets just see them naked or cheesy lets act like they are playing around I will be fine with it, it just needs to be realistic and emotionally engaging.
