I read in the ME Wiki that if your imported Shepard had a love interest in the first game, if you start a romance in ME 2 it will have negative consequences in ME 3. My Shepard was with Kaidan and I'm not sure whether to stick with Kaidan or choose a new guy (Jacob does seem like an interesting character).

Are you certain that Garrus is a possible LI? If it's possible, could you cite where you found this information, but if not, I completely understand; it's just..having it cited would make me so much more happier.

Don't call me a dreamkiller, it's just...I really want to be certain, so my hopes aren't dashed to oblivion. ;o;

I'm not certain, but word in the Garrus love thread seems to indicate so. There's apparently a live feed somewhere of Femshep doing the Archangel mission that gives some indication of this. I refuse to watch these videos myself, so I cannot say for sure, only report what others have said.

I've also heard rumors that Samara is an exclusively F/F romance option, but these are a tad more insubstantial.

Well, I really wonder the consequence after betraying ME1 love interest in ME2. Is it really revealed or do we wait till ME3 to see these consequences? I really consider playing again and betray my love interest
