how about explaining what the fook it is?!

What, the Hammerhead?
It's the new exploration vehicle replacing the Mako.

so to all those people who buy it used, or rent it.. they can't explore planets? I don't buy that for second.. they would be cutting off their nose to spite their face.

If you buy used you have to pay about 15 bucks to get access to the Cerberus Network.

It's 2010, over 2 years since the polar shift in 2007.

Stop being so 2003, quit living in the 90's.

I know, I know. It's Activision we should all be hating on, now. ;)

To those who buy it used they have to spend 15 dollars to purchase the Cerberus Network to get the stuff.

Maybe EA isn't so evil after all...

Was EA really ever 'evil' or was that just some sort of persecution complex people had against EA because it was and still is eating their favorite game companies for breakfast in its drive to make an insane amount of money?

That is what the Hammerhead is. We've known this for a long time - what we didn't know was if they had cut it out of the game or not.

I am 100% positive that exploration is possible with or without the hammerhead, but that the hammerhead merely makes it easier - and more stylish. B)

P.S. heres hoping for a free Varren or Batarian Squadmember

Varren I doubt because unlike Dog their not smart enough. Batarian I also doubt because in all honestly that's one race who would never help, they hate the citadel races to much to work with them. Especially in a mission based around saving citadel humans.

Krogans hate the Citadel species too, yet we have a krogan squad member 2 games in a row.  Also there's the whole Legion thing.  Not going to say more.

Yeah but Krogan's aren't Terrorists. I mean in Galaxy the Batarians were given a chance at peace and instead they try to wipe out the council.

The krogan don't hate anybody. They certainly resent being neutered, but are obviously not in a hurry to launch a grand crusade on the Council about it. As long as you're willing to pay, the average krogan will fight for you regardless of race, creed, and conscience.

So the batarian government feels that way.  Are you saying you really can't believe there could be a Batarian that didn't support the actions of their government, would be willing to help for a lot of money, or realized that fighting against the Reapers and their allies (the Collectors) was more important than petty squabbles?

I dunno, maybe one day they will come out with one. Personally I doubt it though, who knows.

To those worried about exploration, you DO NOT require any DLC for exploration. There is some drop ship thingie included in the game, regardless of whether you buy it new or used. The Hammerhead is just another option.

Normal Planetary exploration in Mass Effect 2 will be done using the Kodiak Shuttle.

The Hammerhead tank will apparently be coming with it's own separate missions in the DLC.

they were pretty bad at one point, they used to drive their employees into the ground, there were official investigations in employee treatment, and things got better after that
