Something new for me was that DepthOfField also adds bloom. So, you need to disable it too.

That sounds more like artificial lens glare.

Bloom is more of a general glow effect when there is ample light.

Bloom vs. No-Bloom vs. HDR Comparison in Oblivion. I personally like the effect when it's done well, others seem to hate it.
