Lame. What a cheesy looking game. Pfft, like anyone would bother with something as cliche as that. :P

Wow, that is awesome. Really happy they didn't use that Shep face in the game. He looks like a goober.

Ah, that original ManShep.

I'm glad they didn't keep that face. Imagine seeing that hairless fellow on all our ME 2 trailers... yerch!

Looks like he should be in The Incredibles (by Pixar) as one of their characters. He has that exaggerated look that Pixar puts on people to give it that cartoon-like look.

But hey, glad they didnt use him.

wait I thought trailers were supposed to be somewhat exciting, the most exciting thing in that is the terrible sand storm effect almost making me laugh a little

Only thing I miss is that Eden Prime was pretty. They never really explained how it turned into Mustafar with red skies. Why would they call that place a beautiful paradise? It is absolutely ugly.

If they did explain how that pretty place in the trailers and the "paradise" as Shep called it got molten lave on it and red skies, could someone let me know?

It's not really that beautiful. It's 'serene, tranquil, safe'. Nowhere is it implied or stated that Eden Prime's colony  is actually pretty. Jenkins comes the closest to saying so, but even then he's talking about the starry sky and not the colony or planet itself.

Nihlus: I've heard it's quite beautiful.

Shepard: Some say it's a paradise.

Plus some of the earlier bits of the location that resembles an early version of Eden Prime is actually gorgeous with nice skies and foliage, so could it be that the script line was written before they made it look like Oblivion from the Elder Scrolls IV?

That part of Eden Prime was all messed up from the attack by Saren, Sovereign and the Geth.

I realize the burning buildings and such were from the attack, but that doesn't explain why "paradise" is largely molten rock covered, just sitting ugly like dead volcano. And it definitely doesn't explain the red sky. It wasn't even a sunset red, it was an odd must-have-been-caused by something red. If Saren's attacks cause red skies, then I think we would have seen more red skies... It just wasn't pretty. The rock and burning, harsh sky weren't the paradise of a place I thought would happen.
