No I'm not.

The main quest takes roughly 4 hours.

However, the 'perfect' playthrough I'm importing did take around 38 hours, to get all the achievements I wanted and level 60.

If you say so man, I just have no idea how the hell you did it in 4 hours.  Of course I am a completionist, so I do everything and kill everything.

Did watch any of the cutscenes or talk to/listen to any NPCs or read any codex entries?

Those things aren't important to everyone, but if you're looking to get a feeling for the back story and setting for ME2 it's probably necessary to some extent.

No I edited and mentioned it was a speed rush, kinda, to unlock level 60. Doing completionist isn't much longer, though, around 10 hours, maybe 9... Depending on how efficient you are. I wasted a lot of time re-searching worlds for minerals.

But in this case, I guess the OP just wants the extra "awesome" when he's playing ME2.

Plus I couldn't even skip the main cutscenes, which was annoying.

The times are right, though, for sure. I made note seeing as how I replayed Mass Effect 1 JUST for the ME2 import.

Yeah, I wasn't trying to doubt that it was possible to do so, just that you seem to loose most of what was good about ME1 in the process IMO.

But yeah, if you're just looking for a somewhat pumped up character to start ME2 with, that approach will work.
