Obviously, if you kept her alive, once the Normandy blows up she goes on to protect the colonies as a soldier (probably a high rank). Then the Collectors arrive and snatch her up. This provides Shepard with a great side-mission to rescue Ash (even more-so if Ash is his love interest).
