If shep did romance Tali, would that not mean the first HumanXQuarian relationship in the ME Universe? Come to think of it it seems humans are almost as open to alien romances at the Asari are....

All kidding aside I find that fascinating.

(Please note this isnt about whether you find Tali attractive or not, it is more about interspecies relationships in general. Come to think of it... Thane counts as well. Or Suze.... /jk)

I don't get what the appeal of Tali is. She could look like a lobster for all you know.

Notice I was joking about the human part.

I think it's because human nature in and of itself is adaptive.

Think about it. Humans are found, literally, in EVERY possible climate and location on Earth. Most other species can't say that, as most creatures are climate-oriented, or at the very least have sub-species.

So I don't find it strange at all for humans to be mentally open to that sort of adaptation. Biologically? We still can't reproduce with anyone besides Asari, so I'm not sure what argument could be made biologically.

But yes it is kind of interesting.

I hope she does. I'd rather have a lobster chick than Space Morrigan or Space Morrigan with Anger Issues.

I doubt there will be any sex. I bet it will be more spiritual.

I just find the very fact of interspecies romance interesting. In a sense it is like a homosexual relationship in the fact it does not support ones species biologically. Yet at the same time it could connect(or tear apart) the relations of the two species as a whole.

These hopeless romantics would argue love and romance don't directly relate to reproduction.

Whi is to say kids can't come of it?  I'm not saying they will but we know the Asari only breed with other species as a rule.

... Seriously?

You think a turian and a human can produce a child when they can't even dine at the same restaurants?

Most races are biologically incompatible. The only exception are the asari, who have crazy baby-making mind magic, and even then, it's not a complementary pairing of both partners DNA. The child is fully asari, with human (or other) brain junk.

She looks "angelic" from the reports we have so far

Well in all fairness, I think homosexuality proves that love and romance don't directly relate to reproduction.

And let's be honest, what fun is that, really?

They can't. Their biological systems are just plain incompatible. They can't even process the same food, as mentioned by someone else.

I wouldn't argue that necessarily. I do believe it began simply with reproduction before we really understood it or could communicate as well as we can now with each other, I just think it's possible for it to expand beyond that based on the social "evolution" we've made as a species.

Well I think it might have to do with the Biological, the dextro-protiens would cause a Human and a Quarian to be a little incompatible in the children department.

With Space Morrigan, I wont have to worry about her moaning Quarian history in the sack.

I was just saying in some cases it might happen but certainly not all.

We already know this to not be the case. We don't know exactly what they look like, but their faces are clearly somewhat simian like our own.

If they reproduce, will we get a half-elf... IN SPACE?

She probably only gets with other engineers, but only if they have access to a clean room. Still, I bet Quarian foreplay starts with hours of apologizing. If you're still horny after an hour of decontamination, then she's up for anything.

Forget Talimance, I want maleShep Jacob-mance! I line I just heard Jacob say hints this may actually be a go :) No spoilers since I'm not sure either way.

I'll be happy is there is a Talimance though :)

Well Quarians have mammary glands. I am not a biologist but I am pretty sure that means mammal, so no lobster chick. All for koala chick though.

This also brings me to another question... If you romanced previously with say, ashley or liara. What would they say knowing you are now with liara? Probably make Ashley hate Quarians.
