 I always play mages as i go through the game. 
After the first play i always pick Blood mage.
Most times i do the circle tower quest first. 

I notice the following. 
If you have Wynn in the group when you kill the blood mages on the second floor, you get an option you can't get if she is in the group which is 

"Ok blood mage i spare your life, and when IT IS SAFE meet me at my camp"

if Wynn is with you you get a similar thing but it's just go hide downstairs with the other mage's.

The first time i thought at some point she might meet you at camp to offer services of the blood mages. 
OR 
I thought great she is a evil replacement for that diaper knitting douche bag Wynn. 

But NO go she never meets me in camp , she never is visible at the bottom of the tower. 

Soooo 

I keep thinking about it, i can't stop. 
Is there a way to kill wynn and get the conversation option when leaving the tower to kill the templars also .... 

That sounds like it would make things "SAFE" for a blood mage... 
Or perhaps get rid of Alistair.. so there would be no Whynn no Alistair .. and no mages or templars in the camp ...
that sounds safe for a blood mage. 

I just can't believe that there is a conversation option that changes based on if wynn is with you or not . That has No game impact. 

Are there characters who have finished the game , and seen an impact of sparing this blood mage. 

I swear i would sacrifice wynn in a second to get an evil mage in my group to sub in as a healer. 

The conversation has 2 different ways to spare her!!! meet at camp .. or go downstairs. 

I refuse to believe it is nothing!!!!!! 

Arg i keep playing the tower again and again ... but the danm fade part takes sooo long that i get bored doing it over and over to see if any dialogue changes ... 

Also , can someone confirm what you need to do to kill the templars and the mages...

There are several ways that you can get Wynne to attack you when you first come across her in the tower. One way is when Morrigan complains about helping Wynne. You ask morrigan why she has a problem with the mages or something like that. Then no matter what you chose after that, Wynne will get pissed and attack you. I don't know if you will get the blood mage in your camp or not though.

It's all irrelevant as the blood mage you spare in the tower can't be recruited, but I must say that I never thought of her as particularily evil. Blood magic is not by itself evil, even if the chantry forbids it, it's only when you use it in an evil way, to hurt innocent people, it becomes evil. I always thought of her as one of the mages who turned to Blood magic in desperation for feeling opressed by the Templars.



Even Uldred may not have been very evil to begin with, depending on what you believe. The Uldred you talk to the top of the tower isn't Uldred anymore, it's a demon who has possessed Uldred and destroyed him.

But why the whole option to spare her i 2 different ways ?

I thought it would tie together well, if you destroyed the circle , and killed the templars , that in your camp there would be a blood mage character who could take the place of the circle at the last battle.



i mean some thought was pu into that dialogue , I just cant buy it that there are 2 options based on wether you have wynn or not , and it mean nothing . There isn't even a faction change with characters for doing it.



And what i meant was how do you get the templars to attack you at the end of the circle quest ?

and what was this mod you mentioned , what does it do ?

Maybe at some point they were going to do more with her, but ran out of time and resources? There are bits and pieces of quests that might have been and characters that are in a position to be developed further (e.g. Jowan). As it is, she doesn't appear anywhere beyond that fight.

Blood Mage can be unlocked in Redcliff. Only by a PC mage though. You'll have to master the art of the deal if you want to save everybody and get the Blood Mage Spec.

nevermind.

but if you on a pc, there is a file out there that will unlock the bloodmage for you......
