It's ROGUE!

Shepard has not turned a vaguely reddish colour!

I have to agree with Lucid on this one. The GALAXY is Darius Shepard's "nation" now.

Yup your right, I usually catch that error.
Damn English language for having two words with entirely different definitions being so close together in spelling.

BTW, I'm serious.  I really thought I had spelled that correctly and am embarassed that I misspelled it.

That misspelling is so damn pervasive that sometime in the future you can bet your ass that the color rouge and the word rogue will both be considered interchangeable and perhaps the latter will become archaic.

*laughs* So that means the X-Men character will no longer be consider an "outsider" instead she'll just be considered a reddish blush put on cheeks.

Thanks everyone for accepting my spelling error. I was in to the vodka bottle when I posted the first post. Not proud, no excuses, just a statement of truth.

Well its his armor. Ash seem to be also wearing her white with pink armour agian. A little vamped but basically the same one. The N7 one also looks a little different.

En he might be a spectre now. But in ME1 the Alliance brass made sure to tell you that you are still Alliance.

Technically, rouge is a french loan word. It's not English at all. So I doubt it's going to replace rogue. Also considering that when said they sound nothing alike.... I very much doubt that what you're suggesting will happen.

Just sayin'

Either hes not in the Alliance anymore or he shouldn't be sexing up every subordinate he can get his hands on.

What self respecting officer does that?

You make it sound as if Shepard has to do those things. If you don't like it don't play it in that fashion. Problem solved.

N7 is a rank in the human military. Cerberus is a human organization with ties to the Alliance, so it's quite logical they would be using the human military rank system on their ship, no?

was, they went rouge in ME1. Or at least some of them did.

THey have ties in the SYstem Alliance still, High ranking ties.

Yes they have contacts in the Alliance but that doesn't make them part of it. If you played the first game you would know that they have officially gone rogue. That is unless Bioware throws a twist in there somewhere which I doubt.

You can tell Shepherd that it's no longer appropriate to be wearing the N7 armour.

I will be waiting behind those boxes to mop up the decks after Shepherd's finished with you.

Yeah, pretty much this, too. You don't tell an 800-pound gorilla what to do.

Yeah but it was still part of his service, he isn't technically Alliance anymore other than the fact that he's Human.

How do you know he's not Alliance? I haven't heard any info confirming that claim.

I thin the "canon" Shep considers himself to be part of the Alliance, even after allying with Cerberus. N7 is not just a military rank, it's the symbol for the best soldiers humanity can afford, somewhat like the SpecTRe, just on a lower level of responsibility.

Much like being a Grey Warden, when you become a Spectre, you are expected to be impartial and put the galactic community as a whole before the interests of individual races.

I think you may be giving it a little too much credit.

Why is Shepard wearing the N7 armour? Because he diddnt get the pre-order bonus or the CE and had only 2 armours to choose from.

Because now he is a comicbookish character, participating in the BioWare "I don't give a sh*t what's there beyond Omega-4 Relay" fashion contest. Well, being a character from ME1, Shepard contests under the motto "BUT I GIVE A SH*T!!!"

Hmm Look Mommy a Troll Posted Image

The only thing I imply by my mocking post is that, although sporting an N7 "trademark" (now on the helmet too) is quite outrageously comicbookish, certain squadmates who don't wear anything like armor are a couple of light years far more outrageous.
