Did anyone go through the game, feeling 100% suure you did everything, and then find there's a sidequest dealing with the rachni and alliance marines, and a huge brood warrior pops out of a hole and scares you s**tless!! ??!!?? >

Seriously, I was just completing a 100% go through on my instanity playthrough, ( I rarely check guides), checked online, and found there were at least 7 sidequest I never completed, at least 5 of which I never even heard about. I seriously, nearly fell out of my chair when that  brood warrior appeared from nowhere.

I was like:

"I know this isn't ME2, so why are the rachni betraying me!!!! I should've never let you b*st*rds go!!!!!!"

/end something, just, anyone have any experiences like this before on any of your playthroughs?

Yeah i know what you mean it seams every play through i discover something new, though i think that is what makes it such a great game

Those are the brood that was seperated from the queen.If you follow some clues found at one of the planets in that cluster it leads you to another quest that explains how the Racchni got there.and yes,evrey time I play I find a new quest.

i did that mission right after finishing the noveria mission so i was kinda pissed that i just let her go with the promise that they would not spread and attack, but then i read the background story for those particular rachni

my first playthrough I was on one of the derelict freighter missions.the second and third husk attacks surprised me so much that both times I  drpped my keyboard.
