I have the Stone Prisoner expansion installed and enabled. Everytime I try to talk to the guy to start the quest, I only have an option to go download the content, which gives me a message saying I have insuffecient credits, though I already have the expansion installed and running. Any ideas?

Try restarting the game? As in quit to desktop and boot it up again.

Done that, it had no effect.

Restarting the PC? Can't say I have any solutions for this, both Warden's Keep and Stone worked fine for me..

Try deleting the DLC and re-downloading it? Perhaps it was a corrupt download / install.

The first thing to do would be to confirm if The Stone Prisoner content is installed.
From the Main Menu select 'Downloadable Content'. Navigate to the Installed Content tab and confirm that The Stone Prisoner is listed under this tab and set to Enabled. (It also should not say Unauthorized). If it is listed somewhere else, please provide additional information as to where the Stone Prisoner is showing up for you.

I may have a similar problem... My "The Stone Prisoner" quest shows up as downloaded, but it doesn't seem to install. All the other content did automatically. Anyone know a way to get it to install?

I spent some time on-line chatting with a EARep named Scarlett. She gave me the following steps to try in fixing the downloaded-but-not-installed The Stone Prisoner Quest:
*********************
Press "Start", select "Run"
Type "CMD" and click Ok.
Copy the text : net stop DAUpdaterSvc
Go in the CMD window and right click at the end of the line, select "Paste".
Now once its done. Go to the below given location: -
C:\\Documents and Settings\\\\My Documents\\BioWare\\DragonAge\\Settings' and delete 'Manifest.xml'
Again go to the below given location: -
C:\\Documents and Settings\\All Users\\Application Data\\BioWare\\Dragon Age\\' and delete the 'DAUpdater' folder.
Copy the below given line, and paste again in CMD window: -
C:\\WINDOWS\\Microsoft.NET\\Framework\\v2.0.50727\\InstallUtil.exe "c:\\Program Files\\Dragon Age\\bin_ship\\daupdatersvc.service.exe"
*****************************
However, I only needed to stop the updater service and delete the Manifest.xml. Once I did that The Stone Prisoner Quest moved immediately to the Installed Content section.
Also, I have Vista, and I think those instructions are for an XP box... I found the Manifest.xml file under C:\\Users\\User\\Documents\\Bioware\\Dragon Age\\Settings\\Manifest.
But this seemed to have worked. I haven't tried to access the quest in-game yet, but the content is showing as installed now. I hope that helps you, and if it does give big thanks to Scarlett (I can only assume she has a crossbow) for it.
