Return to Ostagar shouldn't have been a DLC in the first place since
1) its the place where you go after the origin story.
2) It should have been an in game quest.
Agree.

I just want my money back, how do I get a refund for my bioware points?
Go to this customer service email page, and contact customer service. There doesn't seem to be a topic on the customer service site on how to get a refund, so you'll have to contact them to start the process.

since RTO has been delayed for more than a month I was thinking that if they sell us another hour long dlc it would totally make up for the delay and everything else. since they have different teams working on dlc and if they have another hour long dlc in works that could be ready it would I think earn fan support back for this whole fiasco if they sold another hour long dlc. they would still make more money and make the fans happy. but it was just a thought if you disagree there is no need for bashing.
I agree. However I doubt there will be another DLC until after Awakening.

Remember that mass effect 2 is developed by Bioware Montreal, DA:O by Bioware Edmonton. Not only they're different teams, but they also are in different cities. Hell, they even have different timezones
True enough but they are all still canadians... its not a bad thing.

Why are all you people complaining about wanting your money back? When the game itself was delayed 12 times did you want your money back then too? It's not like they stole your points because it's been delayed.
They stole my innocence tho

There is, several entries.
There are entries about the Return to Ostagar quest. About who the survivor you're supposed to meet is. About what unique weapons, items, and stats, you can find and pick up.
Now, seeing that I'm still waiting for them to officially release RtO itself, this... is absolutely, ridiculous. Nevermind the story inaccuracies, like how Duncan's sword only looks like a regular long sword, and Cailan's arms is a sword and a shield thats like that of the keening blade and there is no two-handed sword,
I-, I don't know. To me, this is the breaking point.

You can't get a refund for the points.
You'll have to keep them and then you can spend them on future DLC.

The xbox version was released by accident (MS put it out before they were allowed to do so) and there's been a pirate version floating around. The latter is not to be talked/ asked about here.
Thus, the entries. There's also been a few posts in the spoiler forums about it, as well as a few here saying it's good/ bad/ in the middle/ long/ short/ includes dinosaurs.

Breaking point of what? You're not going to buy any more Bioware games? Not going to buy Awakening? Not going to buy any more DLC from Bioware?
Overdramatic much?

Overdramatic? Probably, but I'm pretty pissed off that the great majority of us legit buyers and players don't have the game yet, but there are people who did dl the leaked version for the PC, and they're writing about it.
Don't feel like returning to Ostagar no more.

I doubt the pirates are writing such things - more likely than not, perfectly legit XBOX360 players are doing the brunt of the work. The fact that MS screwed up doesn't make them any less legit than PS3/ PC users who weren't affected by the screw-up (or the specialization bug that soon haunted them).

Why is there no facepalm emoticon? Honestly. Maybe you could have, I don't know...., not read it?
And did you ever notice the no spoilers allowed part of the forum title? I think this would extend to your declared story inaccuracies.

They are basically complaining about bioware's botched execution. Not so much whether they like or dislike DLC.
The problem is when you tell people the release date is
This Holiday season. No. 5th January. No. Later today. No. Silence
Do you seriously expect people to be angry? Seriously? come on people stop being angry! look at my spiffy king's armor.

There are also several reviews of the DLC out there (summary at http://www.rpgwatch....read.php?t=9666), and the consensus seems to be that it's not worth $5 for ~45 minutes of content. With ME2 coming out in days and Awakening coming out in March, if the ever do manage to get RtO released, I don't think anyone will care.
Well obviously you don't have a very good thought process. Regardless of what others have said about the dlc, there are obviously still LOTS of people interested in it. Otherwise these forums would be a lot quieter than they are.
I plan to pick it up and awakening, but I may not play it until I have both since I will probably be busy with ME2
The worth of the DLC is purely subjective. Why do I care whether or not someone else thinks it is worth $5 to them? Honestly. Are you that much of a sheep?
