As for the person who suggested using piratebay, nah, I *could* do it, but I won't. I want Bioware to keep making games for the PC so I'll pay for my content when its available thank you very much.

acquiring the DLC through means other than from here, will constitute an account "timeout"
If you aren't registered, I suggest you do. that is of course, if you even can register.
This is totally untrue; if it was the case then you would have an account "timeout" for every mod you D/L or use from any other site.
Why are you spreading lies?
pot meet kettle?
using a "MOD" is not the same, as acquiring software intended for LEGAL distribution, downloaded illegally.
or is that just to confusing for you?
Never used it but...... the delay and their total silence on WHY it is delayed "might" make me go elsewhere. And it is treated like a mod. You better look into the program just a tad more. And by your comment "pot meet kettle" makes me think that you have found the "kettle black". So me thinks you should not be tossing unwanted snowballs at icecastles. So stop spreading the fear and lies and get back to .....why has it taken so long for an DLC that has been in the stream since DA:O was first thought of, delayed? And why can't anyone give us (the players) an honest straight forward why instead of some BS explanation? What is so hard or difficult with that? Can you in all truth tell anyone why, are you an BW or EA spokesperson that can tell us? My God person why are you defending something that you know nothing about except your "blind" support"? I will always buy games created by BW BUT........ this is totally out of line and if you cannot see that you are most likely an fanatic that can't think for theirselves.
Just think.... they have been working on these DLC's since they started working on the main game. Can't you understand that? And EXPANSIONS too!!!!!!! So what do you not get? They are "supposibly" professionals who are supposed to be very versed in the software that they are using....and they can't get on their computers and figure it out?????? Heck I used to use MSDOS and run my own basic programs and I'm the last person that should be able to do that!!! But I could because I knew the program.

Seriously. Who taught you to read? I will post the original quote again just in case you still can't comprehend.
"acquiring the DLC through means other than from here, will constitute an account "timeout""
how is this in any way untrue? Although perhaps the poster should have included 'if you talk about it here after acquiring it....' - but even if you unlock the achievement for it on pc you should be facing a timeout or ban.
Mods (even those where people have re-created some of the original pre-order giveaways etc which aren't dlcs) are not Bioware's property. I assume they have the right to oppose certain mods if they deem them to be objectionable enough though. But There is no mod version of Warden's Keep, Stone Prisoner or RtO. If you get RtO (or any of the other official dlcs that Bioware released) by downloading it and not paying for it, they are well within their rights to suspend/ban your account as it is theft.
I do hope you go elsewhere and get a ban. Your posts on here never amount to anything useful anyway. I am sure comparing yourself using ms-dos to a bunch of programmers working on a multi-platform release (and remember it is their first release on PS3) is totally relevant. Sums up pretty much why your posts are worthless.
And you do realise you argument that ohupthis isn't a Bioware/EA employee applies to you as well. You know nothing. Yet you are just as willing to spout in opposition of their post. Just because someone supports Bioware doesn't make them a blind fanatic.

Oh my god..thanks for makeing my day Tor_pedo. this really made me laugh my A** off
And yes we know, the nugs are the real threat not the darkspawn, they built an army while the battle was going on up on the surface. Now they have taken over the dwarfen empire and are eateing dwarfen eyeball soup.

Noooo! It's because he ran out of bubble gum, isn't it? It's a little known fact that Nugs react to bubble gum like Gremlins react to sunlight. Poor Duke....strippers will never shake it the same way again....

Now I go back into the DLC tab and I have zero points, the DLC still is listed, but it tells me I need to add points to buy it.
Is anyone else seeing the DLC available on PC today?

All right, I'm confused. Just started up the game (on PC), went to check, and it listed the RtO DLC as available. Since I had the points, I clicked on "buy" and then it popped up the "downloading" bar but that just sat at 0% complete for a while...so I had the (not-so-bright) idea of shutting down the game and restarting it.

I just looked and it isn't showing up for me. Sorry

The only way they can remedy the situation in my opinion is to lower the price of the DLC. Make it 240 max as an apology
Yes, because a dollar seventy five will definitely make up for everything.

Your game, like a decent amount of others out there, downloaded the call order for RtO. The call order tells your copy of Dragon Age where to go to download individual pieces of DLC. However, there is currently nothing at the location the RtO call order is trying to send you as Bioware hasn't released RtO yet. So while it's listed, you can't download it.
Also, the game has effectively 'eaten' your points. You should contact Bioware tech support with a copy of your order receipt to try and get them back.

Maybe they'll ****** people off again and lower the next DLC to 150 Bioware points. Then you'll just have 10 sitting there. Waiting. Watching. Crawling slowly onto your bed... Closer... Closer...

Apparently the RTO had an issue and kinda screwed the game up for some when they got it off Xbox Live the few hours it was available. Lucky for me, I am on the PC version so I didn't get the chance to get the DLC.

I agree. It's kinda like Napster, if we pirate even DLC content, how are they gonna have the dough to keep doing the work they do? I paid for my points and once RTO comes out, im gonna use em for sure.
