According to Victor Watcher, nothing.

Play it and enjoy it if you purchased it. As Sidney said, the issue is the title update, and not RtO. It works fine.
But try not to lord it over the other Xbox players and PC/PS3 players. They'll resent you for it ;)

Of couse this was buried in the xbox 360 tech support forum.
Makes me wonder. If "it works fine", Why am I not playing it? :innocent:

You got a link to that thread? I'd like to go check it out.

Don't be silly. We all know by now that Awakening will be released bundled with RtO on February the 29th, 2010.

Not very professional. This RTO DLC delay is ridicules. People should shut up and stop with the hype. Nowadays all company's do from comics to video games to government hype everything up and most of the time never deliver all talk but no action.............but looking at this forum they're not even talking.

I used to consider Bioware the most professional, most developed game company around. KoToR, Jade Empire, the part they played in The Witcher (it was Biowares engine in the Witcher) and of course, Mass Effect. And while I am frothing at the mouth for ME2, the way Bioware has handled all this nonsense with the DA DLC is simple rediculous. As someone said, its not the fact that its 30-45 mins of game play. Its not the fact that its 5$, Its how they are handling it. I know many have already complained about this, but I want to put my $.02 in as well. I know its against all hope but Im thinking that if enough of us **** about the way we're being treated; the people that PAY FOR THE GAMES, then maybe it will sink into someone's head, up at the top floor of Bioware/ EA games, and they'll knock this ****e off. One way of making amends would be to release RtO for free when it comes out and let those of us who have already spent the money on "Bioware Points" use it for something else, that comes out ON TIME. But methinks thats just wishful thinking and we shant hear anything until/ if RtO ever comes out.

We will have more information after Bioware tells ign first & or then releases the DLC without prior warning. As fans we are not entitled to knowledge about the product many of us have already paid for, so please stop asking about items you may of already paid for & want to play.
  Jeez people!!

Well we may not be entitled to it...but we can surely talk about it right?

I mean it was just weird they were talking like it was almost good to go and they would keep us informed and then suddenly nothing.  I don't necessarily need to know why but I can certainly say it was weird and speculate as to why that might be.

If it's anything like the Mass Effect DLC...

it's been delayed until a few months before the release of Dragon Age 2. On it's release date, it will appear on Xbox live as a "best bet". When you open it up...your immediate impression will be "they must have released an earlier build by mistake"...only to find out that, no...it's just crappy work. Some time later, you will find out that BioWare did not, in fact, make it. They passed the work off to some other crappy company, which is why they kept quiet about it all these long months.

I can't imagine why a company that survives on the hype of gamers deleted a 170+ thread pointing out that not only has a deadline been missed twice, but a title update borked 360 users all over a 30 minute add on that is comprised mostly of existing in game content.

To be fair they didn't delete it, they just locked and unsticked it.

There is a problem with it, they are working on it, and they also have improved their testing procedures any content has to go through to get to the final release stage as a result, WHich means further delays ontop off the already present delay. No eta coz they can't really say for sure at this point. And the fix to the xbox live malarky is in the extended and improved testing phase and looking good.

Yeah, that was hard to find/figure out.

Bioware is just using Valve Time to estimate the time of release. Holiday season = fall of next year.

I have given up on the new DLC, just like the awaken exp won't come out when they say. There's not even a patch for the PS3 yet.

hard to find, maybe not. Absolutely insufficent given the situation, definitely yes.

After all we waited and the fact that many of us already paid for it, "good morning, we're working on it, no ETA, have a nice day" and then aweek of silence is not going to classify as proper, informative communication.
