Bioware is just using Valve Time to estimate the time of release. Holiday season = fall of next year.
Hmmm yes... They have been taught well.

There is a problem with it, they are working on it, and they also have improved their testing procedures any content has to go through to get to the final release stage as a result, WHich means further delays ontop off the already present delay. No eta coz they can't really say for sure at this point. And the fix to the xbox live malarky is in the extended and improved testing phase and looking good.
Yeah, that was hard to find/figure out.
hard to find, maybe not. Absolutely insufficent given the situation, definitely yes.
After all we waited and the fact that many of us already paid for it, "good morning, we're working on it, no ETA, have a nice day" and then aweek of silence is not going to classify as proper, informative communication.

No ammount off "insert whatever you wanna call it" will speed this process up. Quite honestly I'm happy that this issue have caused them to tighten up their quality assurance process. And for the record, no I haven't bought it yet. And if I had, I'd still feel the same way.

Here is the thing, I enjoy many games that have been released recently (Dragon Age, Assassin's Creed II, Uncharted 2) But what shocks me is that Ubisoft, one of the most annoying corporations for delay (Splinter Cell: Conviction) has just announced the ACII DLC for January 28th.

As fans we are not entitled to knowledge about the product many of us have already paid for, so please stop asking about items you may of already paid for & want to play.
Well we may not be entitled to it...but we can surely talk about it right?
I mean it was just weird they were talking like it was almost good to go and they would keep us informed and then suddenly nothing. I don't necessarily need to know why but I can certainly say it was weird and speculate as to why that might be.
1103 I think Valmy's sarcasm detector is on the brink. hehe

RtO has been ready to go for two weeks now. Bioware has a policy though, every time some kid opens a whiny little thread about it, they delay it by another day.
Current planned release date is June 12.....2051

They might have tightened up on QA (or so they say) but they sure need a lot more tightening up in the communication department.

This sucks. I hate ME, and DAO is the only game I feel like playing right now. They probably completely just forgot about us DAOers because of ME 2. Bastards. Mass Effect was a very mediocre game!! Who cares about the 2nd one??
