I wish they didn't learn from one of the least professional players in the industry... :innocent:

There is a problem with it, they are working on it, and they also have improved their testing procedures any content has to go through to get to the final release stage as a result, WHich means further delays ontop off the already present delay. No eta coz they can't really say for sure at this point. And the fix to the xbox live malarky is in the extended and improved testing phase and looking good.
Yeah, that was hard to find/figure out.

hard to find, maybe not. Absolutely insufficent given the situation, definitely yes.

After all we waited and the fact that many of us already paid for it, "good morning, we're working on it, no ETA, have a nice day" and then aweek of silence is not going to classify as proper, informative communication.

One off two things will happen:
1 It gets delayed by alot or canceled. People who already paid for it gets compensated.
2 It gets delayed a fair bit but comes out and works.

No ammount off "insert whatever you wanna call it" will speed this process up. Quite honestly I'm happy that this issue have caused them to tighten up their quality assurance process. And for the record, no I haven't bought it yet. And if I had, I'd still feel the same way.

They might have tightened up on QA (or so they say) but they sure need a lot more tightening up in the communication department.

RtO has been ready to go for two weeks now. Bioware has a policy though, every time some kid opens a whiny little thread about it, they delay it by another day.

Current planned release date is June 12.....2051

Here is the thing, I enjoy many games that have been released recently (Dragon Age, Assassin's Creed II, Uncharted 2) But what shocks me is that Ubisoft, one of the most annoying corporations for delay (Splinter Cell: Conviction) has just announced the ACII DLC for January 28th. The shocking thing is I know the 1GB content will be ready then, before Dragon Age's DLC. Does this strike a cord with anyone? Another thing is even though you are a multi-million or billion (haven't looked at the figures but a big corporation) company, you are still entitled to your fans, we pay for your paychecks and you can not even give us an update every week? Shame on Bioware; I am mad as anyone. I understand quality issues but at least keep us updated. I check the forums often (and IGN) and I am about ready to forget it. Thank you Bioware, is this what we can expect for ME:2? I wonder.

Lets just look at this from the bright side:

ME1 DLC - just two in 2 years

DAO - 2 (3d delayed) in 3 month, but has some bugs s.a. patch problem or WK is slightly strange (lets call it like this, with its closed doors).

Soon comes ME2 thus logical will be to asume that there will be often DLC without bugs :)

As about RtO... ehhh... I'll just go watch some trailers of ME2.

Well we may not be entitled to it...but we can surely talk about it right?

I mean it was just weird they were talking like it was almost good to go and they would keep us informed and then suddenly nothing.  I don't necessarily need to know why but I can certainly say it was weird and speculate as to why that might be.

1103 I think Valmy's sarcasm detector is on the brink. hehe Image IPB

lol, don't be mean!!! Seriously though Valmy, I know how ya feel but we shouldn't get so worked up over $5 & less than an hour of content. Gamers enjoy being walked on!! Especially us PC people! (expamples our expansion is $40 but console's isn't $50)
My view is this, it sucks I gave a company I've been supporting for more than 10 years my money only to be given two broken promises & no infomation plus I was treated like a child when it comes to knowledge being withheld from me as if I was the kid who couldn't understand why mommy & daddy are upset(bills piling up!). It does suck but thanks to PC gamers pirating a lot of games & the people who allowed Capcom to chareg us for content already on the disk then actually buy it we are now a joke. I know it isn't everyone's fault but those kids who spend $50 of their parents money on gear for their xbl avatar shows companies we are idiots who will buy anything with little explination. So I can see why Bioware feels no need to explain anything or even give us a date & or apology. They will get their money & despite these events they most likely won't lose many sales. On top of all that I'm sure EA has one hell of a grip on that leash. No barking Bioware! bad!

i've tried very hard not to complain because i really do think there doing everything they can but i wish we could get some sort of an update, but i can see where they wouldn't want to get us all exited incase of anything happening again, i wish they would tell us if they plan to just release it spontaneously or give us an expected date i'm just disapointed =/

ding! ding! ding! 100% spot on. why is the delay beeing treated as a 360 only thing? ("official" rto discussion is under 360 discussion)... ever since the 360 patch came along i haven't heard anything in regards to the pc and ps3 versions.

i just find it really disappointing that bioware are acting so unprofessional. This puts me off wanting to spend more on there future works, which is ashame as there games are usually of good quality.

This sucks. I hate ME, and DAO is the only game I feel like playing right now. They probably completely just forgot about us DAOers because of ME 2. Bastards. Mass Effect was a very mediocre game!! Who cares about the 2nd one??

I honestly mean no offense by this. But seriously, adding complaint on complaint really isn't going to help or speed up anything. My friendly suggestion is to find something else to occupy your time with. Or at least adopt a more laid back attitude before you get ulcers. Me personally, I got both Darksiders and Assassin's Creed II to play around with til Mass Effect 2 comes out. And when that's done I still have some random Fallout 3 and Borderlands to attend too. Not to mention more playthroughs off Dragon Age. I also recently dug up Fable II again.

haha i've read them all though! And I agree that some people like ME, but I just found it very..... boring. That's the first time I've said that about a BioWare RPG. It just didn't do it for me. I have tried to beat in on many occasions, and every time I get about 2/3rds of the way through and get bored. Its very repetitive if you ask me. And really not a lot to do it seemed. Plus all forms of combat were clunky as hell. Especialy the magically powers you could have. Biotics or whatever. So clunky. The game Advent Rising had better controls and such than ME. And that's saying something
