This sucks. I hate ME, and DAO is the only game I feel like playing right now. They probably completely just forgot about us DAOers because of ME 2. Bastards. Mass Effect was a very mediocre game!! Who cares about the 2nd one??

I have to say I only played the first 20 minutes of ME, and was rather underwhelmed.  But folks in my group tell me I should try again...before I finally kick it to the curb.

Hence currently I am not hyped up at all about ME2...unlike most.  We'll see..if I later end up being impressed, well I "might" get on the ME2 bandwagon, but currently still interested in DA:O and recently discovered I like The Witcher...which by the way is done on a Bioware engine.

where is the people from bioware ? I haven't seen any offical statement for like a week? and it was pretty sloppy of a mod to be like their is nothing wrong with rto just the patch and leaving everyone hanging again. I don't care that much about it. I am just worried that my pre-order for awakeings will be treated in the same fashion.

go read some more weis and hickman books... they are both great games

haha i've read them all though! And I agree that some people like ME, but I just found it very..... boring. That's the first time I've said that about a BioWare RPG. It just didn't do it for me. I have tried to beat in on many occasions, and every time I get about 2/3rds of the way through and get bored. Its very repetitive if you ask me. And really not a lot to do it seemed. Plus all forms of combat were clunky as hell. Especialy the magically powers you could have. Biotics or whatever. So clunky. The game Advent Rising had better controls and such than ME. And that's saying something

i've read 'em all too... One of the things that really appealed to me was that it was a shoter/RPG. i love both styles and it was nice to have them put togther that way. The character development was also pretty good...the one thing i could have done without was the planetary exploration...it always felt the same every time i landed on a new planet. i hope they worked on that aspect for the sequel.

The first part of Mass Effect is actually the worst part but it starts getting good when you go to Noveria and then really good when you go to Virmire.

Anyways, Bioware is a large developer and I doubt ME2 will interfere much, if at all, with anything DAO related.

Well, if you change the 2010 to 2012, it could. At least I think that is the next time Feb. has a 29 in it....

im sure there was an ongoing topic about this DLC here not so long ago, just cant find it now >.<

anyhow does anybody have any gobbit of info ????

Might have missed someone posting this, but is this thread the one you are looking for? It's the former sticky on the title update, specialization, and RtO that was locked?

There was also this one about the delay and the original announcement here. Y'all might be talking about a different one, though, since there were a few.

If you've already settled on the idea of not purchasing the content and moving on from Dragon Age or BioWare altogether because of this issue, I implore you to spend less time talking about it and more time following through with your 'threats.' If the downloadable content is still of interest to you, I implore you to wait. Whining, pleading, and otherwise slandering BioWare isn't going to expedite the release.

Really, this whole thing is getting to be a bit ridiculous--and I'm not talking BioWare. Mistakes happen; it's unfair for you to expect otherwise. And sure, BioWare could have alleviated a lot of the frustration and the disappointment by employing more presence on the forums. But... they didn't. Get over it already.

Oh how I wish there were Awards for posts like this. I'm not flaming nor baiting either.

Some people in here just lose sight of the real objective, and start running off at the keyboard, for lack of a better term.

I truly believe there are a few in here who would benefit an "anger management seminar/therapy session.
