I'm debating with myself whether to change my order in my Nordic home country to an order from a UK webstore in hopes of getting the game a few days before its delayed release in the rest of Europe, but before I invest my money I want to hear that there is no known issues in the UK release date.

Does anyone know any different?

If you are getting the pc there hasnt been no word of a problem (yet) but some people are worried there is. If you want 360 they are sold out in the UK so dont cancel your CE.

They still did'nt announce anything if it is delayed or not is some country's.

Since I'm from Portugal I can't contact GAME because they say I do not have a valid Post Code. Can someone ring GAME about this?

I phoned GAME last week to updte my card details (I'd been cloned since placing the order), and asked if I could add special delivery to my order. The person at GAME said there probably wasn't much point since they usually post out a couple of days before release date anyway.



Not a definitive answer for you, but since I was specifically asking about postage she didn't mention anything about any hold ups.

So far it looks like the UK CE is still on track for release the 29th. I live in Denmark and ordered mine from them in order to avoid the delay, so i hope they wont change the release date.

Hopefully Ireland don't get affected by this. Wonder if it makes a difference if I preorder from Gamestop instead of Game over here, seeing that Gamestop in rest of Europe are getting delayed...

I would probably keep your order with your own country. In the UK we get the same release as everyone else I believe (a lot of UK gamers will have noticed a few games come in a multilingual form, where the box art caters to the main EU languages if not just the manual), although I could be wrong. Chances are if a part of the CE is wrong for Europe, it's wrong for us, therefore you'd really not gain anything by switching country.



Plus our preorders arrive the day before (very rarely 2 days before, maybe) so it might actually come later than if from your own country due to having to travel quite far

GAME know nothing about a delay to the PC CE.

I talked to them yesterday.

I just sent the following message to Game, let's see what they say:



"Hi there,



I have pre-ordered Mass Effect 2 Collector's Edition for PC. It would seem that for several countries in Europe (specifically Spain and the Nordic countries) the CE has been delayed due to a printing error with the art books.



Are you aware of any similar delay with the UK release of this game or is it still on track for release next Friday?



Are you able to comment on if you have actually received your stock of the game yet or if it is due in soon, which would help reassure customer such as myself.

If it does turn out to be delayed I'll be picking up a copy of the standard edition on zero day, which I'll then sell once my collector's edition arrives.
