Niddy, do you practice being retarded? Or does it just come naturally, like from a brick to the head?

If so, would you like another?

God forbid you can't equip an assassin or a scientist in overly cumbersome armor that they have no reason for wearing in the first place. God forbid during this second, dark story you don't recruit people from the Alliance Military but instead, assassins, criminals and morally ambiguous characters from across the galaxy to help on a suicide mission. God forbid BioWare makes their story how they want it instead of placing you as an officer in the Alliance where your only squadmates HAVE to be marines.

Ok could someone give me a link confirming we can't put armor or anything at that matter onto our squad mates? In one of the earlier reviews or discussions of the game, they stated that you can put armor on your squad mates but you can't customize it, i.e. coloring and such. On a side note in one of the recent trailers for the game I clearly saw Miranda in a black piece of clothing and or armor.

I've read this entire thread with no direct answer. Just immature flaming and bickering, "Oh yeah? Well I've played -- bicker, bicker bicker, go back to Halo, bicker, bicker, bicker"

Okay, i gotcha. Here we go, from the Best Buy Q&A:

Guest-68: are squad member outfits merely alternative appearances or do they incorporate stat differences and/or research upgrades?

CaseyH-ME2:[/b] We found that the main attraction to customizing appearance was on your own character, and managing armor etc on all 10 squad members would be onerous. So we deepened the customizability of Shepard's armor so now you can do it piece by piece, and we made the appearance of your squadmembers more of an aesthetic choice that you earn by gaining their loyalty."

Edit: Good name, by the way.

Thank you ::)

Well with that, I am slightly disappointed but I can understand it. On the other hand they should have made an option for people to ether do it or not do it. Certainly isn't going to ruin my gameplay... heh maybe if you're loyal to Jack she'll wear even less :P

Looking through Niddy's posting history, it looks like he is, in fact, a troll. A pretty accomplished one at that, who knows a lot of the usual tricks.

I like the characters of ME2, and I would not call them 'comic-book' ones. Reviewers in CD-Action, who are RPGers to the boot gave ME2 10/10. This alone makes me doubt in shallowness of this game.

What do you think a video game is ya fool?? <_<

It's a source of entertainment. Whereas comic books are paper and text, video games are electricity and pixels. Albeit more sophisticated, it's still just entertainment. You choose the responses, you choose who you recruit, you choose whether or not to gain their trust. You choose whether or not to have a love interest, you choose your personal background, how your character looks. THIS WHOLE ****ING GAME IS BASED ON YOUR CHOICE.

Where was a helmet ever ****ing needed in the first game? On like a total of 4 planets where there was hazardous conditions? Okay so we're not going to be visiting planets like that. Wheres the need?

The casey Hudson bit, Im assuming your referring to where he said you can unlock outfits via personal quest?

Who says thats the only one you can unlock?

Not gonna continue the argument any further though. I truthfully dont have an argument other than Bioware wouldnt and have not revealed everything to us.

also, im at the point where i feel that if you(not you personally, but most of the complainers in general) dont like where the series is going, cancel your pre-order, and find a new game.

About the complainers:
It's the ME1 complainers who made BioWare ditch the elevators.
It's the ME1 complainers who made BioWare ditch the variety of weapon manufacturers.
It's the ME1 complainers who made BioWare ditch skillbased lockpicking.
And it's the complainers (or so Casey Hudson wants us to believe) who made them ditch squadmatesl armor.

We, who were generally happy with ME1, were silent at best or, just like you "don't like - don't buy"-ed the ME1 complainers. But now it's time for us to complain: BioWare what have you done to a good game?

Well, I guess we can just call you a ME2 complainer.

It did work quite well, these posts notwithstanding.
