Eh it's their business tbh. I just don't think something like race should be a content blocker. Even gender restrictions make more sense to me

because you have elves for example who have so many reasons to not want to enter into a relationship with a human ever

like i know it's partly a gameplay thing but the subtext just makes me uncomfortable

Iunno, people are boring. Statistically, most people who'll end up buying the game will probably do the default male human warrior and will probably be scared off by gay Sera, horny Iron Bull and colored people.
