I expect Viv will have a fairly similar persona to what Miranda had, so it will be interesting to see how people react to that kind of curt, possibly domineering business-first characterization in a black french(?) woman versus an aryan australian played by a famous sexy actress.
I'm going to expect a lot of backlash for a lot of silly things mostly involving diversity and inclusion, lots of "focus on the white majority" bullshit that too many people have adapted out of nowhere. Part of me still holds Bioware accountable for this stupid attitude too, but at least they're trying to shake out of it.
It's all leading towards good progress though. A couple more inclusive games and the industry and community's viewpoints will change for the better over time.

yeah in other news someone on tumblr (i think) asked gaider about da2 romances and now he's saying they were all written and intended as bisexuals and i just don't get him
because i clearly remember him stating in several places that they are not in fact all bisexual and every single case is different which is actually making more sense
