Since DA:I is coming up soon, how many of you are going to replay the whole series before the thrid game is out?

I will be playing through both, but I will pay special attention to DA2. Looking for "Clues" about things that might be in the third game. Who knows. There might be alot of easly-missed-information about.

I've played through both several times

But I have just started my final Origins playthrough earlier :D

I am currently working on finishing two DA:O playthroughs on my PC as I was planning on switching over to PC gaming before they announced DA Keep. After I purchase the DLC, I will do a few modded runs of DA2 as well. I want to make 2 cannon playthroughs for DA:O and 4 for DA2 (1 for each race in DA:I).

I'm currently replaying Origins as an Amell. I really like my city elf warden, however, given the prominence of the mage/templar issue, I want to see what it would be like to have the Hero of Ferelden be a mage. Also, I think its cool that human mage Warden is Hawke's second cousin.

By the time I'm done I'm going to have two world states to choose to enter into the Keep for my first playthrough.

Well, I completed my "canon" Avren Mahariel-Amelia Hawke playthrough. But if I have my way, meaning if I have time, I'll finally finish three variant playthroughs I've been planning.

I want to have one with politically powerful non-mages (Queen Couseland and Viscount Hawke), one all mages, and one with an ultimate sacrifice Warden (Not sure what I want to do with Hawke)

I've just gotten to Denerim on the Couseland one. One practical upshot of the Keep is that I don't feel like I have to explore every nook and cranny to snag every possible sidequest and future plot point. It makes playthroughs quicker.

I know I don't have to actually have these saves to import a world state thanks to the Keep, but... They wouldn't quite feel like MY world states if I didn't finish the playthroughs, y'know?

Good point, Lord Æsir. We don`t really have to play through the games because of the imports anymore.

Im waiting to see how the Keep is going to work. If we can import saves directly into it then I'll finally finish my Dwarf Noble Rogue/Rogue Hawke playthroughs and upload them. If we can't upload data then I'll say screw it and just create the state within the Keep.

I think its still good to have it all fresh in your mind though to ;-) even if we can't import directly into the keep

Does anyone remember if DA2 had alot of information about the Red Lyrium? There are red templars in DA:I, so I am guessing any info on that might be very relevant for DA:I.

I've only just gotten my first runs down this year. Anyone's guess if I'll have time for a second before the third game hits. I'll try, but there's only so much time on a given calendar.

I am right now, because it's been far too long since I sat down and did a full run using the same files, etc. Doing things a bit differently to spice everything up (i.e. never made a dalish elf warden until now).

And now comes the dreadful Deep Roads "lol massive filler dungeon"

As much as I'm a fan of the series, the idea of playing through DA:O and DA II again is slightly painful.

I wonder to what extent being a fan of the series has caused this. I am beyond a happy saturation point for Grey Wardens, Ferelden, the Blight, Darkspawn, Templars, blood mages, and every one of the companions.

I already did once since DA:I was announced, now I'm going through DA2 with my favorite version of Hawke one more time.

Will probably play the series through once more in Summer some time.

I have already played trough Origins, Awakening and DA2 over 30 times and after last fall I promised myself that I wouldn't play DA series again before Inquisition, but now I suddenly feel an urge to do it one more time before DAI comes out :P

That's an interesting point--what I'd like to see reflected later in the series was always on my mind, during my later playthroughs.  Tended to take me out of the character. Now I can replay and just enjoy the game without considering (as player) the long term consequences. :)

I am doing that currently, four playthroughs for each game. I just finished four Origins playthroughs and now I am moving onto DA2.

^ This. I love Dragon Age and I'm totally fan girl excited for DA:I, but I don't think I have anymore full playthroughs of the two previous games in me at present. Right now I just peter out at Ostagar/Lothering in DA and I can't bring myself to repeat all of Act 3 for DA2. I'm really hoping the Keep lets us customize world states with detail without having to bring in actual imports: I have all manner of different choices and outcomes I'd like to bring over into DA:I, I just don't have it in me to play out all the games to get there, lol.

I plan on doing one more completist run through both games closer to DAI's release - just to get myself in that DA frame-of-mind. ;)

I did my canon playthrough of DA:O recently and I don't want to play DAII again so I'll just make the choices for that in the Keep.

I already ran through both of them last year after DA:I was announced + All the DLC. I wouldn't have time this year - too busy. I miss not having a life.

Replaying both as we speak. Don't know if I'll actually finish either of them... to be honest I've only ever played the entire way through ONCE for both games. I've restarted with a couple new characters and just end up stopping about halfway through.

I actually started a new DA:O game yesterday but I wasn't thinking about DA:I wen I did it I just felt like playing DA:O but now that I think about it the new character I made (chaotic evil male human noble rogue) has a very different personality from my "cannon" warden (neutral good male dwarf noble warrior) and will probably make very different choices so I guess I'll use him for my second DA:I game
