Hello!
Before anything, please don't post any spoilers, or at least warn before you do. I won't read any responses that contain spoilers.

 

Well, I kinda know the outcomes for Mass Effect 2, or at least I know there are two main outcomes. Either everybody lives or everybody dies.

 

In many games, the "bad ending" sucks, every time. So I would like to get the "good ending". The problem is that I love the way conversations work out when you're a badass and go for the renegade choices.

 

I know I could just play the game twice, but I have 4 games I need to play before summer, and I just ain't got the time for that.

 

I have recuited Jack, Grunt, Smaara, Garrus and Mordin so far, but I won't mind starting over at this point if I can get the good ending.

 

So my question is, can you get the good "save all" ending while being a badass? Or does your paragon and renegade points affect the ultimate ending?

Not at all. The decisions that affect the outcome have nothing to do with your Paragon/Renegade points.

Don't worry about it. Being paragon or renegade doesn't affect the ending, just get your crew loyal and plan carefully.

My current shepard is mostly renegade, and you can be a complete brute and still get all loyalties and upgrades before the suicide mission. Be careful though, some choices affect mass effect 3.....

Upgrade your ship and do all available loyalty quests and other side quests you want to do before the IFF mission and after do no more than one quest before starting the final mission, think through your choises during SM. That's all you need to do to get the best ending.
