Disappointment is one thing but surely this method of passive-aggressive pessimism serves only to irritate you further?
On the contrary, it only seems to irritate others unwilling to accept that 2 years waiting for ME2 and your favourite aspect gets relegated to the side roles, with your only piece of encouragement being, "dont worry, in another 2+ years time theyll be a part of ME3. How big a part is open to interpretation again" is worth being massively disappointed with.
Just stop for a second and think if this situation would be any different were it Tali getting a sideline role.
Ive heard tell some are already disappointed her "hypothetical" romance isnt supposed to big enough.
Personally I never expected to see Tali again so as to whether I *personally* would be upset had her role been sidelined, obviously not.
Don't get me wrong I don't intend to trivialise your frustration, despite not sharing it. My investment in either the Ashley or Liara romance is not high enough for me to relate. Though there is still hope of a satisfactory resolution which is better then I expect from my DA characters romance, at this stage I assume my liklihood of getting closure for my character there is slim to none. I am slightly optimistic though, and more over I remain optismitic that bioware will continue to deliver characters that I can become emotionally invested in.
Nevertheless I hope for your sake that there is resolution in the future, and if as you say conversations such as this don't serve to only irritate you, fair enough too.
