It's all of Ferelden and Orlais so it's a little bigger than that.

I wish OXM had never put the whole Nevarra/ Free Marches thing in the article in the first place because now I can't help feeling a little dissapointed. My only question is, assuming the veil tears are 'Thedas-wide' and the inquisitor is the only one with the power to close them, how will the veil tears in places such as Nevarra and the Free Marches be sorted out without visiting them.
Same here! I had my heart set on Nevarra, the Free Marches I don't really care for but, Nevarra ![]()

Same. It doesn't help that I have no real love for Orlais.

I know, Nevarra looked so interesting, especially with all the mysterious 'Egypt-y' (if that's a word) concept art of the place. Hopefully we'll visit it in a future game, or maybe, just maybe a DLC or expansion for Inquisition.

Not quite as impressive, but still not bad.
It's Western Ferelden, so a bit smaller. Best not get our hopes up for Denerim. *really really wants to get my hopes up to see new Denerim*

The OXM mag said we wouldn't be seeing "big cities, like Denerim" in DA:I, here's hoping they got that wrong too.

I asked Mike Laidlaw what was incorrect with the OXM, and he said it was Nevarra and the Free Marches. He has yet to reply to my further question on if the rest is correct.

Is this 'all' big cities, because I was really hoping to see Val Royeaux.

Don't play with my emotions like this, Duck.
Fixed.
But that's okay, we still have our Qunari, right?
...
...right?
oops! I keep forgetting lol. If you change your name again I will still call you Hina! (unless it has a new nickname that sounds really cute and I can't resist
)
I wish they'd show us the models for the Qunari like they did with every other race ![]()

I would really like this too. We have concept art, but the only ingame stuff we have is Alpha Qunari Male faces.

No one ever said anything about Antiva, where did you get that idea?
Also, Orlais =fashion = great boots.

Leliana's descriptions of those boots always sounded uncomfortable to me. I really do prefer the more practical and comfier look. ![]()
Getting more on topic, I'm actually pretty happy that we'll be exploring more of the countryside than any of the bigger cities. Also, I think some of those areas like Nevarra, Starkhaven/Free Marches and others are going to need their own game. If I'm going to, say, Tevinter, I'd want the entire game to immerse myself into that culture. Same for Nevarra and Antiva. I'll admit I'm a little hestitant about going back to the Free Marches, even if it's another city-state. I'm glad that they are waiting for a future game for that. I still need to get the taste of madness and pain of Kirkwall out of mouth first.

Has there been anything about the Anderfels? I'd love to go there, but i doubt it's gonna happen since it looks too far away from the confirmed areas

Bioware never said anything about the Anderfels as far as I know.
Even on the first panel of the "hypothetical next DA game" they were just talking about going somewhere more french.

lol it's okay!
After reading Asunder, and what happened to the White Spire [located in Val Royeaux] I have a hard time believing that we won't be visiting there. Unfortunately, I think that's the only big city we'll see.

I think I'd be fine with that, we've only really had one major city in the last games anyway, Denerim and Kirkwall (Amaranthine if you count Awakening) so it's keeping with tradition. Also I remembering it saying on the wiki we'd be 'visiting places like Tevinter to calm or encourage the fighting' - I'm guessing that's not gonna happen with the recent news.

tevinter has way too many story possibilities to explore for them to throw it into this game, it will probably get its own game later

I just don't want to be constantly outdoors in forests and whatnot. I want to see the cities of Orlais.

We should visit Kirkwall again, with an army, and siege equipment, and salt
