I'v tested the 10.1 myself, and it doesnt fix it.
If it was up to ATi, they'd fix it, they know about this problem and there's nothing they can do.
BioWare is keeping this issue in the dark as good as they can, they dont want a
"Our game fries videocards, and we do nothing about it."
on thier reputation.
A warning to all HD 3870 users!!

I recently tried sending EA an Invoice to pay for my busted 3870x2 (hopeful I know). So not only do they keep the issue in the dark, they don't pay up when their product does damage.
Yep that should just about get me suspended from the forums too, right Zethell? lol ;-)

Heh, unfortunately, they dont have to pay for your burnt cards. :/
Read the End User License Agreement (EULA).
They really should thou, or at least give out warnings on the game package, like..
"This game will burn the memory off your HD 3870!"
and..
"After the memory is burnt off, you could have potential wallhack in a few games"
Ever since Dragon age burnt my HD 3870, it has wallhack in modern warfare 2.
