Anyone know of a way to mod in the ability to choose Lash as a bonus power during character creation? I hate having to pick something I don't want taking up space and then having to buy it on the Normandy. If it's possible, I'd love to know how.

You can change your bonus power with gibbed ME3 save editor. In the editor, open the save file you want to change(quick save usually works, you can also do this while the game is still running), then go to the Raw tab, Player section, Powers section, then click the collection button. On the left column will be the list of what you have. The right column has the specifics.
Example of what it looks like for my Vanguard who has Barrier as the bonus power:

The text on the first section at the top is SFXGameContent.SFXPowerCustomAction_Barrier. I am unsure as to what the wheel display index number means since a couple on the left column have the same number for me. But say you just landed on the mission right after the beginning, on Mars. You should have however many points you spent on the bonus power(recommend 3 or less).
If you want to change it to Lash, you would remove Barrier in this case and add a power. It will just be named Power until you change the name to AriaLash or whatever other ability you want. Then you'd write this in the class name: sfxgamecontentdlc_exp_pack002.SFXPowerCustomAction_AriaLash
then list AriaLash in the name section and it should show the power's name on the left as AriaLash. If you are unsure about the number sections, just leave them as 0. You can change any bonus power you want this way, though once you get the Normandy, you can just change it there for a small amount of credits. You'll also need: SFXGameContent.SFXPowerCustomAction_WhateverAbilityYouWant if you want to use the non-DLC bonus powers(Ex. EnergyDrain, Carnage, Marksman, Decoy, etc.)
Edit: All of this stuff I wrote has to be done after you make the character. It can be done as soon as you get control of Shepard though.

^ The DLC bonus powers aren't included in the CC, which is a problem that's carried over since at least ME2.

You don't need to buy it on the Normandy because I'm pretty sure the first power reset is free.

^First skill point reset is free, but changing bonus powers costs 5000 each time.
