Pin them up together and they will devour each other without a second thought... Human nature, in'it? Ooor... fish nature... So yes... we could hold up here well-provisioned and well-armed at the citadel and half of us would be dead within the month! Which seems grim to me any way you slice it! Or... ahh... as my learned colleague so naively suggests, we can release the Normandy, and we can pray that she will be merciful... I rather doubt it. Can we in fact pretend that she is anything other than a woman scorned, like which fury Hell hath no? We cannot. Res ipsa loquitur, tabula in naufragio, we are left with but one option. I agree with, and I cannot believe the words are coming out of me mouth... Captain Shepard. We must fight... to run away!

Shepard paces down the bridge speeking to his ship's crew before a much less impressive speech to his squad.

"Crew we are nearing the Omega 4 relay, we are about to enter into a space that no life has ever returned from. Now I know you may be stricken with fear imagining what lies beyond, but goddamnit this is the second time this has happened. Where is the crew that willingly broke the law and pierced the dark veil of space to travel to Illos? Did everyone but Joker really die? Will someone please rise from the crowd of the fearful inexperienced and show me that they have the courage to take the unknown without wavering, to not place a symbol of fear upon that blackness beyond us but to see to it that it's the final proof of our undeniable ability to conquer all before us, to do what has been done before.

Every crewmember rises in dramatic wave behind Shepard a he walks toward the cockpit. Shepard nods in approval and turns toward Joker.

"Joker you are the finest pilot in the universe and I'm asking of you the most important task in the universe. I'm asking you... to fly this ship!"

"Aye Aye Commander."


After the speech Shep gets his motley crew of squadmates (Miranda, Grunt, Mordin, etc.) together:
"Alright I'm all speeched out. If you didn't hear what I said on the bridge sucks for you, anyway we're gonna go into dangerous unexplored territory and we're gonna kick some a**, soooo manifest destiny b****es.


OOOH, there's a Serenity before my speech I can't compete with that.

The Battle for the Citadel is over. I expect that the Battle for the Galaxy is about to begin. Upon this battle depends the survival of all our peoples. The Collectors knows that they will have to break us or lose the war. If we can stand up to them, all the Galaxy may be free and the life of the Galaxy may move forward into broad, sunlit uplands. But if we fail, then the whole Galaxy, including the Systems Alliance, including all that we have known and cared for, will sink into the abyss of a new Dark Age made more sinister, and perhaps more protracted, by the lights of perverted genetic science.

Let us therefore brace ourselves to our duties, and so bear ourselves that if the Systems Alliance and Galactic civilization last for a million years, sentient beings will still say, 'This was their finest hour.'

the above is my "good":alien: (moar liek  chaotic neutral:whistle:) speach. i will also need an evil:devil: speech, which i thought of earlier

commander shephard walks from one end of the ship to the other w/scenes of the daily workings of the ship (like ME1 opening). shep stops dramatically behind joker gripping his shoulder. she says "alright folks. i have either 2 choices: suicide mission on our enemies final outpost, or ram them:bandit:. i dont really like the odds of a suicide run:unsure:, so full speed ahead joker:devil:."

she either stays like that staring down the enemy:ph34r:, or adds a final note "everyone else get off the ship, and see you later gimpy!:lol::lol:" (i like staring down tbh)
