Just out of curiosity, is Legion confirmed anywhere as a recruitable squad member? I hear a LOT of talk about him but I haven't ever seen any definitive proof of his being in your party.

He is not.

But there is a very good chance he is due to various observations.

Such as him summoning a combat drone, or carrying multiple weaponry (Which no other NPC does).

Pretty much.
Though Garrus has been seen in squad panels so you can safely assume he really, really is. 
Especially because of that last trailer.

Garrus is confirmed,Although a Dev has not said so He has been seen upon the Squad selection screen

(Legion confirmed by justin.tv streams. There's a clip up where you see him being recruited. EDI gives him his name. Legion claims he has no name, and that he speaks for the Geth as a whole. They claim the Geth that attacked Eden Prime and worked with Saren are not true geth, but "heretics".)

He is pretty much confirmed, so are Garrus, if you see the Launch Trailer. You can see Garrus tvice and I doubt that he would be in the Launch Trailer like that if he wasn't recruitable. You can also see Tali put a gun to Legions head, that means that he is pretty much recruitable but Tali does'nt like that.
