Very nice. Many thanks! No bugged stuff so far, but I've only had it for a minute. I'll let you know.

not sure if this has to do anything with the new dark forum skin but I'm still using the white skin and at random posts in threads have a dark background. like out of the blue.

There are many of us who have been using a script extension for Google Chrome and Firefox (doesn't work with IE, as far as I know.) The extension provides the original maleshep or femshep BSN backgrounds, as well as a dark grey background for this site. It works quite well, and has been updated a couple of times to improve it. Many people prefer it to the existing themes.

I'm sending a message to the script's creator, asking if he minds if the scripts are linked in the Help Forum (just to give people more options.)

In the meantime, I thought I should ask whether it would be all right to link the scripts in the Help Forum. They only cosmetically affect the site. I've had mine installed for a month, and I haven't experienced any issues with it, so it's well-tested. :)

I don't think the contrast is high enough between the text and the grey background. I personally think that the background needs to be a much darker grey, like the old BSN. The old forum had it right. My eyes are no longer straining from blinding white, but from trying to focus on the light text on a light background.

This is basically the same dark theme that I was using in the app for firefox called stylish.

This is much better than the white background, I don't have to wear sunglasses any more! :)  I have just one question about the whole site though, and that's...why have a pretty background at all when all we can see are the edges? Just wondering....

Hmm, I wonder if there's a way to adjust the script to make the main forum boxes just slightly transparent... like it is in the top bars. That would be nice.

It keeps switching back to the white randomly.

Yeah I'm getting this too. I keep having to re-select it every so often.

Aww, and here I thought it would change the background picture to a sinister blackness of space and distant stars to reach out for. It's also very hard to overlook - why not put it in the settings options of the user profile? Down there is a place I'd never look for it.

May i ask if there is a way to make the font become a little smaller automatically please?

I had the dark theme setting, kinda happy, than scrolled down to Jessica Merizen's comment. OMG don't do that again. Maybe it's my ancient laptop.

(SORRY IN ADVANCE) I also noticed that I have "Members" but Bioware employees do not. Have members that is. I'm just happy (and surprised) I have more than one. SORRY. It must mean something.

It isn't quite as satisfyingly dark as I want.

Also the circular loading arrows were gray in the original white theme, so now they're still gray but with these blotchy white outlines:

Why?  Your browser has very good Zoom-in, Zoom-out settings.

Personally, I am very pleased to find the improvement had been made available.
