Elsethread, the topic of DLC came up, as a medium for experimental content.

I believe Bioware has decided against implementing stealth missions of the type we saw in Mask of the Assassin, which makes sense.  The idea of four people managing to evade detection, at least two of them hulking behemoths, clanking in heavy armour, does beggar belief some.

But I wonder if it'd be possible to keep the idea of non-lethal damage?  Sapping someone and zipping past them was fun, and as long as the party kept moving, it wouldn't stretch the bounds of credulity too much.  Seems a shame for some poor slob of a guard to have to die just because you've got some incriminating evidence to plant, or a tiara to steal ...

I think for stealth type missions it would be cool, it makes me think of the Crime wave quests for Slim Couldry in DA:O, I had my rouge with a fully leveled stealth tree and I would use that to sneak past everyone like a ninja  , but in the second last mission I couldn't leave(due to it being a trap and being forced into combat mode) without fighting because one group of guards were too close to the exit for me to leave, and while i know it was just a side quest I really liked the idea of getting in and out without anyone spotting me and it just ruined the mission for me I was pretty annoyed...

So yeah if there are stealthy missions of any kind I think its a good idea, or just missions were I don't want to kill some poor mook for just being in my way

That, or you can just have normal combat with the option to let people go when they lose, like in DA:O. Having said that, stealth could actually work in DA:I because of the engine change.

depends. if those quests were just minor curiosity (MotA) and engine didn't support stealth (or it was awkward for player) then no, i wouldn't like that.

i'd probably try it anyway. if it was poorly done, i'd be in need of a Thief theraphy

I like the idea of non-lethal damage. It could work in certain missions where you do not have to bring the whole party. Or a character can scout ahead of the party taking out the guards . The rest of the party would then take the guard's equipment, tie the guard up or lock the guard away.

I like the idea of non-lethal damage for certain missions. It sort of reminds me of the melee knockout and anti-thorian gas from Feros on Mass Effect when you save the colonists.
