What would be the most OP combination?

 

I think it would be a Spitfire that fires Acolyte balls.

 

Or maybe a PPR that fired Reegar Carbine lightning.

 

 

2nd Question - What would be the most fun combination?

 

 

The gun and ammo needs to exist in the game.  So, "a gun that fires thresher maws" doesn't count.

 

 

EDIT:

3rd Question - What if we let the gun fire any power?  Then I choose a Mattock that fires Cain Trip Mines.

 

You may be wondering, "Why a Mattock?"  Because a full auto guns wouldn't work.  The 4th shot detonates the 1st.  So your Cain Mines will be blowing up in your face almost as soon as they leave the barrel.

Your combo is probably better than mine.  I forgot that it is hard to move carrying a spitfire, whereas the Harrier doesn't slow you down (aside from frequent visits to ammo crates).

Have been thinking, if every round stripped as much shields as an acolyte does, then maybe ammo for harrier wouldn't be so much of an issue lol……….. I will say tho, I've not slept properly in over a week!!!! lol

I vote for a Geth Pulse Rifle that fires Claymore shots

Upon thinking about it, the Spitfire is not the most OP choice.  Too heavy.  You may not make it to the LZ on time for extraction.

A claymore that fires 8 pellets that are mini-claymore which fire kishock harpoon pellets.

With Javelin rounds and max piercing, you would barely need to leave the LZ. ;D

This one doesn't count.  It needs to be another gun's ammo.

If we can use weapons from different games, my favourite would be :

 

Harrier + Infinity "ammo"

GPR with Harrier rounds.

 

GPSMG that shoots harpoons.

 

CSMG that shoots endless Falcon rounds.

Good point.  But, what if you were soloing and got Disable Devices objective?

A Harrier with the capacity of a Typhoon, or Spitfire

A Crusader that fires as instantly as a Paladin - none of that Built in Lag^TM

A Javelin With none of that Built in Lag^TM

 

An M-8 Avenger worthy of the title "Deadly on Full Auto"
