Biased as i said i don't hate mage i just deal with them correctly as they are walking bombs that give humanity almost nothing beyond troubles they will recive such treatment.

You have more 'evil' than 'good' because the idiotic Chantry condemned their entire race for the actions of a handful of their ancestors. They have brought nothing but misery and pain to these people's lives and then they are shocked when some of these 'bombs' explode in their face.

The probability is not too big. If it were, most would not even make it to the circle. The benefits are innumerable, the Andrastians are simply too vindictive and cowardly to give them a shot.

Unless Bioware shocks me to a degree no game developer ever has, both sides will probably be pissed with the eventual solution to the problem. A more lenient circle, with Templar and mage cooperation, with master mages able to live out of the tower, with mandatory checkins of some kind, under the auspices of the chantry. There, that should ****** off both sides enough to be middle ground. Just the broad strokes BTW, details will vary base on game decisions.

To be honest i would say that andrastians were benevolent with mages simple imprisoning them and giving them luxuries when mages were doing little more than just providing disasters for societes...

 

As i said i don't care about few individuals where first example is pure bi*** that would destroy half of the world for power second ****** that would destroy world in her endless stupidity and only thing that prevented her from being possessed is plot armor... Only bethany and malcolm are somewhat examples and please don't make me laugh if i should sacrifice milions for few unknowns just because they are mages...

No it isn't possible either mages have freedom or non-mages safety circles was "compromise" it provided neither... and as i said i think that many peoples have naive view on compromise that it is best solution... mages must be removed from thedas so thedas could become more stable and could go for technology instead healing wounds after disasters sponsored by mages constantly...

If I am going to view thedas from a pragmatic point of view, then I'd rather see mages succeed and mundanes fail. Mages are as capable as mundanes in advancing technology, only they are a more advanced race with much more to offer.

Tevinter stands for a very long time now, capable of fighting off countless exalted marches and Qunari. Mages are in minority in Tevinter as well and they still dominate. It will just take a couple of nukes to flip the coin and make mundanes the minority and mages in the majority, and from there mages will become the only ones left.

From the two circles we have seen, probably isn't the best examples as the first got nuts because of the indirect result of the blight and because a mage want to be the leader and wanting more freedom for his fellow mages by any means necessary although it wouldn't have come the end result if someone hadn't told what happened at Ostargard.

 

As for Kirkwall well it's a very complicated situation to say the least.

 

- There is a very thin veil,

 

- Meredith is not playing ball with anyone (it's basically her way or no way) + she didn't punish when her templars did wrong things like ser Alrik + she did made death squads (of her most extreme people and they are hand picked) to kill anyone who give even the smallest bit of help to mages + she was under the influence of the Red lyrium which made her more and more paranoid as time went on + she did call the annulment because of the actions of 1 apostate mage that wasn't part of the circles anymore.

 

- Orsino hide a mad mage serial killer and somehow got his research (how he got it, is unknown since he could have gotten it from templars or from the mad mage himself). 

 

- The revered Mother, she didn't step in and force the two sides to sit and make a deal so the tension didn't continue to raise.

 

- Anders and his mage underground that continued to cause a lot of trouble for a lot of years and later blowing up the chantry in Kirkwall.

Nah. Mages can handle whatever it is they themselves make up. If there are no mundanes they wont need any slaves. And who cares about millions of a lesser race? You don't feel bad about killing a colony of ants do you?
