Well true, but most mages aren't that stupid unless their backs are turned to the wall and like most humans they do whatever they need to survive.

Try spend 30 years isolation and you will be.

a robe is a robe, anyone wearing one most obviously be a mage.

Well that depends really on the situation and so do the mages but you know some people are just like krogan guarding their pathetic stick in ground which applies both templar and mage supporter, I'm more of a middle ground person myself prefering see things from both sides I know templars point of view and the mages, but becoming an Adolf Hitler or a Stalin doesn't do anyone any good, you could possible make the world a better place, but it would be the cost of your humanity.

Well most of them cleary are as series show...

They aren't in isolation they have own society and live in luxuries not mention they could leave tower...

robe isn't robe circle robe shows that you are mage or at least make you think that you are one when if you will put chantry robes another will think that you are chantry member the same with uniforms...

Well Adolf Hitler was villain because he lost many peoples did smiliar things for side that won and they are heroes now... and in mage case "kill them all" is benefical thing to do.By humanity you mean what morality? If peoples use their heads instead emotions or set of rules based on emotions world would be better place...

They ARE in isolation. Locked away in a tower, guarded by soldiers. They do live in luxury and have their own society and politics, yes.... but they are cut off from the rest of the world. =isolation.

They have company and own society and are allowed to exit the tower so well they are isolated only from non-mages for very good reason so crying "ohhh mages plight" shouldn't be in case because they don't live in the old solitary confinement cut from other peoples and considering how much trouble they are causing they should.

Anyhow, carry on folks.

It would be a boring game if we didn't get fight mages, but a majority mages generally live in peace in thedas expect for a minority (of both templar, seeker and mages) that tend to screw things up.

Ehhh, no they mostly live in the tower for the most of their lives, if they are lucky can take leave from the tower (for a time) assuming the templar isn't an *******.

Well that's assuming robes is enough to prove that one is a mage, because mages can wear armor and such and again it's a game we need to see that the people are mages (because people isn't as smart as they believe) + Meredith is pretty bad at doing her job anyway.

The allies didn't have camps designed to kill a culture and no it's not. yes morality something that you weren't born with apparently.

Not really, you would become the very thing you trying to prevent.

And no i won't become abomination...

Abomination: a vile, shameful, or detestable action, condition, habit, etc.

ex.: "Killing an entire group of people for what they may do is an abomination."

And whose to say humanity as a whole is not exactly that?

I know. But you can become something just as bad so the definition applies.

No, that is the dictionary definition of the word. That's as close to the truth of a word you'll ever get.

by that comment, Thedas should have been over run a long time ago, but guess what it still hasn't happened.

Mages have to work hard too you know or else well you become like Meredith's sister.

No, you have to show a display of magic before being a mage, not by the clothes you wear.

Now that remains to be seen....you are already half way there....

since abominations doesn't happen as often as you say well some of your arguments falls to the ground, not to mention we have the templars to fight them should they appear.

You haven't been to college I take it?

it's spices things up in the bedroom or maybe some people don't like pants or hell some people probably look good in robes or some people have some sort of robe fetish.

pff antichrist? im benevolent individual that remove danger for entire world!

And none of them is even close to diaster/abomnation incydent caused by mage so well thats one of reasons why peoples are tolerated but still under rules of society and why mages aren't and have more restrictions placed on them.Do you want tell me that mages are less corrupted than normal peoples or something else?

Well considering that most mages are able doing what they want in their free time well and they live in luxury well i would say that their life is above averge especially in thedas ...

DA:O had civil war and blight not exactly your day to day.

DA2 was a rushed job even the developers have said that the put way to much extremes in the game and there were gameplay elements that weren't really happening like teleporting mages and abominations popping up in the ground (and I'm actually wondering what the templars are doing in DA2 since we can easily find mage while they can't).

Well it is not that blight or civil war affected circle ;)

well in da 2 we have plenty abomnations as well and that if we don't count insane mages.

Besides they painted templars even in good light with flaws but still they were far from mages so i don't get that extremes...
