someone please explain to me why it takes so bloody long for anybody to join your lobby, when you find a billion GIP's after hitting "quick join"?

Way back in the day, someone posted that the game seems to prioritize GIPs or lobbies that have already run at least one game over spanky new lobbies.  I don't know if this was ever confirmed.  But try starting your game and bleeding out on the first wave and see if your lobby fills up faster after that.  Seems to help me. I've watched a brand new lobby take 30+ minutes to fill while one where I did the quick bleed out thing filled up right away.

There's also the whole thing about opening ports, if yours are closed it will always takes ages for your lobby to fill up.

 

Either that or T.H.E.Y. have it in for you and have decided to punish you.

Well, RNG has a powerful mind and can tell a good lobby from another and can places players accordingly and usually RNG makes sure to put you in a lol400ping lobby and makes sure all the good hosts never get players so they can lolsoloplat and become true BSN ELITES.

 

Consider it a push to becoming a true ELITE.

I have this same problem, takes ages for people to join me when I fire up u/u/g or plat lobby. I have a good connection so I don't know what the issue is. I have sat some nights for 10 minutes or more, just to use a kit that I know lags when I'm not host.
