Ok, it's stupid, i know, but no one is curious to know how armors will look on our Qunari inquisitor? We don't have many examples of qunari armors/clothes.

In DA 2 we had just 4 type of "armors"

qunari-02-lineup-p.jpg

If we elimate the Arishok and the Saarebas we always saw half naked Qunari with just little pieces of armor and Iron bull show the same style

draginq11-960x623.jpg

Things seem different if we look 2 concept art of female quanari inquisitor

This mean we can expect something different at last for females? What about males Qunari? :P

edit : just found this concept art from "World of Thedas"

Female Qunari is cool even if seem a little bit fetish in that armor lol   .... the male doesen't look much different from what we already saw  <_<

edit : personal paint over original concept art... just for fun :)

Qunari doesn't have "fashion" in common sense. They have efficiency.

I was jokin using the word "fashion". ;)   What i meant was... what can we expect from a Qunari mage or a rogue? How they will look different from a warrior?

Edit : how could no chest armor be efficent?  :P

Well qunquizzy can wear all the same clothes as the other races. I guess there will be racially specific differences and I have no idea how hats will work.

As for racial specific clothing for the Qunari, it will probably be mostly like what we have already seen but with more verity and detail (hopefully). We have only really ever met military Qunari in the games so idk about clothing for others.

I guess there was Rasaan.

Hopefully military Qunari will wear some sort of armor.  Kilts and body paint don't look very efficient for a supposedly technologically advanced people.

Yeah i know every party character can wear the same armor with differences between races... but even if i can image female qunari don't look so different from a human/elves female, male qunari are all bulky.

As you said we alwyas saw miltiary Qunari with the only exception of Sten, but DA had a completly differnt art style at that time.

Where do you took the image from above?

Right... i always found strange that they look so primitive for a technologically advanced race

It's from "those who speak" one of the comics.

She's a Tamassran, which is basically a priestess. http://dragonage.wik.../wiki/Tamassran

Idk if we will see non military Qunari in the game or not and it's just a comic so they won't necessarily dress anything like that but I thought I may as well post it. There hasn't been an ingame female yet so the Qunquizzy will be the first  :D

Get them to wear shirts first, we can think about fashion later.

But seriously though, it's true that it seems very contradictory that for a race so advanced, they don't wear any proper protection or use any "advanced" weapons. Maybe they don't want people of Thedas getting hold of the weapons they might bring so I can understand that, but not wanting to wear armor? Fighting by throwing lances? That, I just don't get.

I'm still surprised that they even bathe. Their 'fashion' seems to be a lie as their advanced society would imply.

But as commonly said, the Inquisitor will likely be able to wear w/e he/she can gameplay wisse.

Well even if she share some elements with the Sarebaas her design looks quite interesting.

There should be a sign right above the female qunari's cleavage that says "place pointy weapon here!" Dumb armor design is dumb.

Fashion is for individual expression. The Qun forbids these thoughts. Know your role. Dress appropriately.

Of course, the Qunari PC in DAI seems to be an escaped individual, so whatever.

I would have thought the tal-vashoth would just bright and colorfully, in order to further set themselves apart from what the qun dictates fashion should be.

That looks pretty darn good, good find. I'm actually becoming more and more inclined to play as a Kossith warrior who wields dual swords like the Arishok in DA 2. Let's hope they don't mess up the CC options, I didn't really like the first Kossith faces they made using the engine.

Well considering they live on the tropical island of Par Vollen and the humid jungle island of Seheron clothes and armour from the comics can be dismissed as they wear clothing to suit the climate.

All the Qunari in DA2 were from the naval fleet which ran aground on the wounded coast, which means they would not have been wearing heavy armour while sailing(especially during a storm) and it can be assumed that when they became shipwrecked they lost any armour that was on the ships.

the above paragraph is speculation as it isn't officially stated that is the reason behind the armour/lack of armour we saw on the Qunari in DA2, but it makes the most sense given the circumstances that led to the Qunari ending up in Kirkwall

So we really haven't seen proper Qunari armour which has been described as "glittering steel" armour.

Mmm maybe you are right... it makes sense.

I think all the armor we saw are almost all leather with little exceptions.

Or they just retconned it to give the Qunari their own style. They wear the same armor in the comics, and those Qunari aren't shipwrecked.
