I would love if they had an armor all dragon inspired just because I want to have 4 horns.

Hopefully military Qunari will wear some sort of armor.  Kilts and body paint don't look very efficient for a supposedly technologically advanced people.

Get them to wear shirts first, we can think about fashion later.

But seriously though, it's true that it seems very contradictory that for a race so advanced, they don't wear any proper protection or use any "advanced" weapons. Maybe they don't want people of Thedas getting hold of the weapons they might bring so I can understand that, but not wanting to wear armor? Fighting by throwing lances? That, I just don't get.

Yeah good point...

Honestly in almost all aspects they come off as tribal rather than technologically advanced. I'm having a hard time really buying into the whole superiority thing.

I suppose their lack of armor serves as a way to accentuate their muscular builds and hence differentiate them from humans. Maybe if they were fully clothed they wouldn't look different enough. :P

I don't know, I'm very confused about the Qunari.

Sure the lack of armor help to show their physical structure... anyway they are taller, with different skin tones and usually with a pair of horns... :P

I think they look quite different from humans, and there is no need to go around showing abs to prove it lol

Hehe yeah I dunno. I wish if they had a whole race walking around skimpily clad it'd be elves and humans rather than Qunari.

I'm looking forward to the Saarebas and seeing what magics they and the Vashoth would use.

Ok i've played a little bit with photoshop and the old concept art from the first post to see how a full armored Qunari could look ;

That is really well done, if you had of said the devs released new Qunari pics and showed me this I would have believed you.

If Qunari armour is in this style I would be more than happy, it's really cool

I have only just realised that Qunari is holding a skull. Is he in Hamlet or something?

But it looks great SiN, I'd be very happy if we could dress our qunari Inquisitors, or hell even a pro-Qun Inquisitor, in that armour.

I think with more pieces of armor they look more belivable as a technologically advanced race don't you think?

Definitely, but it still should look light enough to not be too hot in Par Vollen.

I wanna be able to dress as a qunari-qunari, the way one can find templar armor in DA2.  Just for fun.

What would be awesome would be if characters responded to CC choices, little things like, "My, inquisitor, what lovely [color] eyes you have!" and CC has the settings to make my inkossithor look like a saarabas, or not.  If designed to look like a saarabas, one roleplays that their qunari mage had it done to protect them ("No, we are definitely not a tal-vashoth family unit.  This is my saarabas and I am her avaarad!")  Then NPCs could look at my qunari mage and ask, "So...thought the qunari took the horns off their mages?"

My first playthrough is with a female qunari mage.  If that is in the game, or anything close, she will be wearing it at least for a few minutes.

We know that clothing changes to suit the one wearing it, I wonder if it changes for the inquisitor, too?  Like, putting an armor on a qunari gives it a bit of a qunari traditional look, or at least influence, and then putting it on a Dalish inquisitor makes it look a little more Dalish-y?

I really hope so! We have a Qunari companion so i think if his outfit will change for him there is no reason we will not see the same on us :)

I'm pretty sure Qunari fashion is made to be practical, more or less.

Yup, we all agree that pratical is the first thing that came in our minds thinking about Qunari.

What i want to know is how they will look in DA:I... if the armors the inquisitor will wear will have something of qunarish in their style, ecc :)

I personally find it somewhat ridicules that their warriors have very little armor on. I mean there isn't much to block long range attacks or melee attacks.

It made sense for the Qunari in Kirkwall because their ship sank so they couldn't much armor on or else they would sink before swimming to shore.

If read the first two pages many of us think it's strange they wear very little armor if they are a technological advanced race. Other before you tought it was because the Qunari in Kirwall were "sailors"... others because qunari live in a country with a tropical climate.

I think we have just to wait and see :)

I'm also hoping they'll explain away their tribal and naked look in DA2 with them being mostly sailors and/or TalVashoth.

Their practical nature would surely make their army wear something protective and we're always told how advanced their military is. War paint and throwing spears from DA2 certainly don't reflect that. I really can't take the "Qunari threat" seriously when they look like painted cavemen hurling sticks at you. Intricate and exotic steel armor would be better imo.
