Some characters are very likely (Bodahn and Sandal, Morrigan, and there have been screenshots where Dagna's name has come up). Are there any past NPCs you are hoping to run into again?

I am hoping for Connor myself. I was a bit sad his quest was cut from DA2 (though the dialogue files are still there). Feynriel and of couuurse JETHANN. (A girl can dream.)

Although I've never read asunder, from what I've read on the wiki Evangeline seems like a very interesting character and it would be nice to see a mildly pro-templar moderate. In my ideal world my inquisitor would put her at the head of the reformed Templars.

A really cool but unlikely one would be Bevin(the boy in Redcliffe village with the sword) if you gave his sword back. It would be really cool to cross his path as he would definitely(I think) be old enough to start his adventuring.

Although he was beheaded in my canon playthough of DA:O, Loghain should return if he was spared and survived. Of course being 10 years or so after the events of DA:O he should be fairly close to his calling. Maybe you should even run into him in the Deep Roads while he setting out on it.

I hope the rumor is true about Dagna.  I loved that dwarf.  Also, The Elder Tree, The Mad Hermit, the bodies of those that want a character dead for no good reason.

I would like to see how Alain and Ella are doing; I mean I'm hoping assuming they made it out of "The Last Straw" alive.

 

I had hoped against hope that Maraas could be a companion, but I'll settle for perhaps running into him and seeing how he's done for himself. If he's happy about not having a purpose or if he still feels lost.

 

It would be cute to run into Lia, the elf who joined the guard.

 

I'd also like to see Charade Amell again.

 

I'd love to run into Athenril; she seemed way, way underused. She kind of struck me as the Aria of Kirkwall for some reason, or rather, she could've become the Aria of Kirkwall.

 

And last but not least, it would be super swell to run into Aveline and Donnic
