Are we talking about npcs that were never companions? Because then Flemeth, Sandal, Dagna, Cullen, Rhys...But I just want Flemeth most of all, I can deal with the rest of them not showing up. As for npcs that were companions, then Zevran, and I'm not mentioning anybody else because Zevran is the most important on my list *sigh*.

I would like to see Feynriel and Alain from DA2 again. I sympathized a lot with their characters and would love to see if my actions helped them at all, in the end.

They could handwave the cage thing as that he and the villagers had a change of heart when the darkspawn reached Lothering and that the information provided about blights was worth enough to balance the loss of his sword if they wanted Sten to be the Arishok.

The entire thing would be a cop out hand wave if it forced him into that position i agree.

 

Then again, given the track records for Arishok in the series...we may get to rectify that imposition.

Loghain. He is supposed to be in Orlais anyways, so he better be in it. I just need to hear Simon Templeman's voice again.

 

I can pretty much assume that Sandal, Bodahn, and Flemeth will be in it. If Greg Ellis is anything to go by so will Cullen (the question is either as a NPC or as a companion). We also know Alistair is in it.

 

Guesses? Leliana. I wouldn't be surprised if we meet Fiona, Adrian, or Rhys.

 

Want? Rhys. Shale. Carver/Bethany. Isabela. Anora. If we visit Kirkwall, I want to see Aveline again. =( I don't see any narrative benefit to any of the other DA2 companions... Except maybe Merrill when we visit the elves. That would be interesting. Or Anders/Vengeance (as a villain, Darth Vengeance plzkbai.) OH~! Sten...

I'll just go and cast a wide net so I won't be disappointed:

Maraas, Wade and Herren, Tomwise(idk why, he can make poison), sten, arishok(I want to let him live at least once), a tamassran, Stroud, Fenris, Shiani, Feynriel, Charade, the black divine, Anders, Velanna, Wynne, Cullen, the architect, the messenger, warden Alistair(best Alistair), Connor, Swiftrunner, Loghain. 

 

Sten would've probably gone on a quest for his sword, maybe he'd be unsuccessful, but that would just make for a more interesting story.

Former companions I want to see again: Carver, Sten/Arishok, Anders, Isabela, Leliana, Oghren, Nathaniel, Sigrun.

 

Former companions I expect to see again: Sten/Arishok, Anders (or his dead body possessed by Justice, if you killed him), Leliana.

 

Past NPCS I want to see again: Connor (I was disappointed that he got cut from DA2), Feynriel (that guy is way to interesting to disappear after three sidequests), Alain, Bhelen (guy was a jerk, but he earned my respect), Oghren's kid, and the OGB. Yes, that last one is likely to start a flame war, but he's my Warden's son! I want a little more to go on for him other than Morrigan saying he's "somewhere safe".
